"The overall food quality was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was equally impressive, also rated 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was delightful, creating a lovely environment to enjoy the meal, so I would rate it a 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Ravioli Di Ricotta, Fresh Baked Bread, Lobster Ravioli, Eggplant Parmigiana, and the Small Caesar Salad with Anchovies. Don't forget to save room for dessert — the pastries are a must-try!"

"I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve been living in Haverhill since 2018 and have always driven past this place without ever stepping inside. At first, it seemed a bit intimidating—definitely a local favorite. However, the staff made me feel completely welcome. The deli has a charming old-school vibe, with trays and a wide variety of food options. I ordered an Italian sub, and it was fantastic. I noticed the guy behind me ordered the lamb dinner, and it looked delicious too. That’s definitely on my list for my next visit. Overall, I had a great experience, and I’m proud to be a Hillie enjoying a meal at A1 Deli. Cheers!"

"Their menu is pork themed which is obvious from the name of the restaurant. They have a really good and interesting menu consisting of appetizers, chicken sandwiches, burgers, bowls, tacos and salads. I think everyone can find something that they will enjoy on this menu. They also have specials that I believe are rotating/seasonal so be sure to ask for the specials menu. Their drink selection is also pretty varied with awesome cocktails, some good beers on tap, wine, sangria etc. I have been here a few times and would highly recommend them if you are able to stop by. There's a paid parking lot with kiosks behind the restaurant or plenty of street parking nearby. Price per person: $20–30 Recommended dishes: Pork Fried Rice, Sandwiches, Burnt Pork Ends"

"I recently visited Battle Grounds Coffee Company, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! The coffee shop has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The coffee at Battle Grounds is simply outstanding. I could tell that they take great care in roasting their coffee beans, and it really shows in the quality of their drinks. I particularly enjoyed the maple bacon latte, which was a unique and delicious flavor combination. In addition to their coffee, Battle Grounds also offers a variety of food options. I tried the breakfast sandwich, and it was excellent. The ingredients were fresh, and the sandwich was made to order. One thing that I really appreciated about Battle Grounds is their commitment to supporting veterans and their families. It's always great to see businesses that give back to the community, and Battle Grounds does so in a meaningful way. The staff at Battle Grounds was friendly and helpful, and they made me feel right at home. They were happy to answer any questions I had and make recommendations based on my preferences. "We used to love this place, but that changed on the night of Friday, December 10. My friend, who is a regular, called in to place an order for two Italian subs—one without roasting, with pickles and hot peppers, and the other also without roasting, without any extras. He also requested mayo on one and light oil on the other, since I have an allergy to mayo. When I called to address a mistake with our order, the owner was incredibly rude to me. I know Tom, I know what he ordered, and I clearly heard what he asked for. I couldn't believe how he treated me, especially on a Friday night after we’ve always been loyal customers. Instead of making things right, he became extremely defensive and told me that if we wanted a proper meal, we would have to pay for a whole new order. Our experience went from five stars to one, and honestly, it deserves less than that. It was a nasty call from the owner to regular customers, which sealed the fate of this terrible review. It’s such a shame. My friend would never order pickles because he dislikes them, and I was with him when he ordered."
