"I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant! My friend and I went there on a Thursday evening, and honestly, the food was mediocre at best. We definitely won't be returning. What really solidified our decision never to come back, though, was the bizarre experience with the tip. I left an 11% tip, but as we were leaving, a staff member stopped us and insisted that a mandatory 20% tip needed to be added on top of my tip. I refused, explaining that I had already signed the receipt and taken a copy. The woman became incredibly rude and defensive after that. While I understand that restaurants want better tips, the food wasn’t impressive enough to justify that kind of expectation, especially with her demanding an additional 20%. Honestly, I suggest you steer clear of this place. I've kept my receipt, just in case they try to tamper with it later."

There was something not quite right about our sushi rolls, and overall, I didn’t have a good experience.

Found this randomly when wanted dinner near Lincoln center. Nice quick service and pleasant staff. Food was really good especially the crispy shrimp appetizer

We have visited this restaurant twice and the food is delicious and find something for everyone. The fish is fresh, the staff quick and helpful. Were helpful for our young picky eaters. We will keep coming back! Voir le carte

I had a wonderful experience! The sushi was delectable—we ordered the “sushi for two,” which offered fantastic value. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was prompt. The laid-back ambiance made it easy and enjoyable to chat!

We celebrated a birthday dinner, indicated as much through the open table app, and the wait staff team immediately inquired and provided celebratory and attentive service throughout. Lots of fun and lots of menu options, we look forward to a return visit.

Poor experience as 2 staff were unprofessional, rude and so insulting I had to call 911.2 officers also arrived at the scene and when I showed the actual video of abuse from the staff, they were very surprised to see this kind of behavior, went inside and also spoke to them.Raising it to better business bureau now to ensure no else is treated the way I was. Chinese servers and cooks so not that authentic. Overall nice and clean place, friendly staff. Shumai reheated, good presentation and sauce. Veggie tempura surprisingly good, crispy and delicate, not overcooked or oily. Beef Ramen a very large portion, while the beef is tender, veggies ok, the soup is chinese style noodle soup, no depth of flavor, not Ramen stock.Good for quick lunch in the area, try elsewhere for dinner.

This is one of those places where you can order items like tempura shrimp, so don't expect top-notch raw fish. Overall, the rolls, yakitori, and desserts were just average. What struck me as unusual was the automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill; while I usually tip at least that much, it felt a bit odd for a party of two. But then again, this is a touristy area, and I guess some people might not be familiar with proper tipping, especially since the staff was very friendly and lovely.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
