"We went there last night for our daughter's 18th birthday as we wanted something different from the offerings in Gallipoli. The staff were delightful; they were helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The restaurant is well decorated in a contemporary style with a fresh meat display counter at the back from which you choose your options. The food was simply excellent the quality, preparation and presentation delivered exactly what we wanted. As one other reviewer has said, the bill was an irrelevance when it arrived as the restaurant had delivered such a great experience. Not going if you're anywhere near Nardo would be missing a treat."

"Delicious! I enjoyed: seafood salad, mixed (cold) veg, salmon carpaccio which was quite salty and maybe over marinaded but great none-the-less, lemon sorbet and white wine. They also do frittura di mare which looked great too. To finish I had a coffee flavoured with Baileys. Spot on! Costly but worth it . They also have a 'lunch for €9.90 ' offer but I didn 't see that until too late and there was no suggestion what might be included in that."

"Lunch break ruined by dishes, presented badly, cold and above all oil greases. We sent back,3 dishes because the tuna smelled, a very low quality, we made it present, and no one came to apologize or ask if we wanted anything else. In one of the hair dishes present, in fact the boys behind the counter only men wore the hat (remember that it is mandatory also for women). Too bad because the potential is there, only a few extra shortcomings remain. If they asked me,something maybe I would have written this review,I hope it's a reason for them,to understand that you don't have to take all you can eat discounted,because around there is an all you can eat,da fear. And you're less."

"Volevamo visitare il centro di Nardò e abbiamo scelto questo ristorante dopo aver letto alcune recensioni... è stato meglio delle aspettative... abbiamo preso cozze gratinate, antipasto salentino, tagliata di tonno e fritto misto ed un ottimo vino Passaturi... totale 75 euro, ma considerando il vino da 18 € (ce n'erano anche da 8 € al calice) direi che è un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, soprattutto considerando l'abbondanza delle porzioni e il ristorante caratteristico.... Tutto veramente squisito, ma un elogio anche alla proprietaria simpaticissima e a tutti i camerieri gentilissimi e cordiali. Assolutamente consigliato e da tornarci!!!!"

"for four years, we have come to eat with joy in this braceria. the quality of the products is excellent and the prices more than moderate. the bombs and sausages, which we prefer, are excellent and their high quality remains constant over time. outlines are always fresh and desserts always include some home-made options. also excellent spumon and sorbet. the service has never given problems and you do everything possible to meet the needs of the customer. the owner is available and courteous, but discreet. a place that reflects the Salento tradition, linked to the flavors of the past. the location is suggestive, located between the streets of the wonderful baroque old town of nardò. recommended!"
