Substandard food, okay drinks — that about sums it up. Bar Goa promised a great experience, but beyond a few cool drinks and some Bollywood music — it is just another pseudo-Indian restaurant serving butter chicken that tastes like frozen Costco chicken strips in tomato soup. Hard pass.

It was our first time here, to celebrate our friend's birthday. What an experience! The food was amazing, had such pleasant flavors. Loved the grilled paneer and fries, it was delicious. Mushroom fried rice was a little spicy. drinks were good too.. Also, the staff was so welcoming and attentive. Overall great experience.

Very, VERY poor service. Portions are really stingy- $8 for a tiny plate of fries? My husband and I got two entrees, an order of poi bread (let's be honest, it was pita) and it was $68 pre tip, $80 after. I absolutely don't mind spending money to eat, but for butter chicken to be three tiny sad chicken thighs in soup with no rice? That's not ok. Voir le carte

There is nothing goan about this restaurant…I ordered goan chicken curry and I was served what tasted like a sad butter chicken with curry leaves. The bartender was pushing to order food while I wanted to try some cocktails first. I ordered 3 different ones and they were all watered down fruit Punch. This is a scam in my opinion to milk the Goan cuisine repute.

Where to even goa with this review. This place has very good drinks, the food is good as well but leans on the smaller portion and shareable side. If you want to goa to this restaurant, I would say goa with a group. My only gripe is that the service could have been quicker for our group being the only ones in here. Recommendation… goa here once but maybe goa other places after.

Food was decent. 1st time eating Indian food. I needed more variety though.Most of the customers were of Indian decent so it was a good cultural experience. They play Indian music but anyone could dance to it. Everyone was super cool. I really enjoyed the experience. The whole bar danced with me and showed me what dances to do to their hit songs.
