The dining room has a lovely decor and offers a wonderful view. However, I found the food to be overpriced and lacking in flavor. Overall, I would rate the meal as a 2 out of 5. The service was good with a rating of 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere was also pleasant with a rating of 4 out of 5.

A friend and I had lunch today. The food was EXCELLENT, ALL HOMEMADE BREAD, KETCHUP, HAND CUT FRIES, HOMEMADE GLUTEN FREE BREAD. The Hostesses were polite, friendly, and courteous. Returned after many years. Sometimes very good but can be pricey $10 malt, 7.50 pie slice) Its an Interesting menu rare tuna slab on tuna melt, low on cheese) but quality inconsistent. Strong prices but I think it is mostly homemade food. Excellent staff. Chicken and waffles good but not with dry chicken strips. Maybe better to go only once in a while, at least for the creek view. Gracie's Luncheonette is a unique and aesthetically pleasing restaurant. The food was outstanding, especially the Brisket with Mac Cheese and Coleslaw, which brought back memories of my travels in the southern states. Unfortunately, the service was lacking, with long wait times in a not very busy restaurant and inattentive waitstaff. If they can improve these issues, it would easily be a five-star experience based on the delicious food.

Went to Gracie's for the first time for Sunday Brunch. There was a wait, no problem, we expected it. What we didn't expect was the complete inability to manage things. For one, a party of 4 that arrived 10 minutes after us was seated before us (also a party of 4). It took another 7 minutes to seat us after they were seated. Once seated, the service was okay, but the incident at the start left a bitter taste in our mouths. That bitter taste didn't go away with the food. I ordered the brisket sandwich: it was essentially heated up dry luncheon meat, which I could have gotten at a deli for less.
