"I have visited this restaurant a few times in the past, but was disappointed when I accidentally ordered a CHIRASHI bowl today. The quality of the fish just didn't meet my expectations. For an additional $10, I could have had a better option at Tsunami Panhandle or Ebisu. I don't want to sound rude, but considering the numerous dining choices in the city, I don't think the value is worth it. The restaurant is nicely located with a great ambiance and staff, but I probably won't dine there again."

Such a shame..... if this place was even just ok id eat here everyday, so close to home. Sushi is terrible but sake is good.

Charming restaurant with tasty Japanese cuisine. The cucumber salad is my go-to, but the seaweed salad is also fantastic. The udon broth is truly exceptional. I absolutely adore Kamekyo! Voir le carte

I have walked past this restaurant many times, but this was my first time dining there. It is a cozy little spot with delicious food and a great atmosphere. I would rate the food 5 out of 5.

This restaurant is super cozy and not as expensive as some may say, especially when compared to other sushi spots in SF. The udon noodle broth was everything we hoped for and more, and the sushi quality exceeded our expectations. We definitely plan on coming back to try more dishes from the menu.

Sushi isn't one of my top 10 favorite foods in general it's probably like my 27th favorite food not that I've ranked them out but if I did it's probably in that range but anyways if I do get sushi this spot's one of my favorites because it's homey and comfortable and the food is good and this is my favorite or second favorite (love crepes on Cole) restaurant in Cole valley Voir le carte

I have to say that the spicy tuna roll I had at this restaurant was not good at all. The garnishes on top did not add anything positive to the flavor. The chicken karage was disappointing as well, as it was not the whole pieces of chicken deep fried that I was expecting; it was more like ordering popcorn chicken at KFC. I was really looking forward to a good Japanese dinner, but unfortunately, I don't think I can bring myself to order from here again.

I would say this place is average. The beef udon broth was quite bland and I had to add soy sauce to add more flavor. My favorite part about the udon would be the noodles because they are chewy and have a good texture. The pork katsu was a little dry, but the sauce added a great flavor. The service was super nice and attentive. The inside reminded me of a cute sushi stand. I would give this place a 3.5 star but I cannot do half stars here hahahaFavorite Item: Pork Katsu

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
