"My first time trying this restaurant. The cuisine is my favorite so I've been to a few. The Margarita I ordered arrived to the table with a sparkle. I mean an actual sparkler and a cool smoking element. I suggest at least one person at the table order on to at least see the first hint after just the Uber nice waiter I was in for an awesome experience. I order the Nuevo burrito and it was packed with yumminess!. The flavors they impart to simple food is an experience your tongue will spend rest of the night in nirvana afterwards. I'm told by my dinner companion that each trip is just as welcoming and food has been wonderful every time or new item tired. Is worth your trip across thier threshold into their restaurant. Let me know what you tired so next ine I make I can have a new wonderful favorite to find. Vegetarian options: There is a full page of vegetarian options available and I came close to ordering one that sounded so yummy maybe next time my carnivore side was hungrier ?"

"We wanted to eat somewhere close to the Rivers Edge park since we were attending a concert that evening. Made a reservation online and showed up a few minutes later than scheduled. Walked into an almost empty restaurant and the male host greeted us seemingly annoyed and asked if we had a reservation (which was hilarious considering the whole place was empty). We got sat and he said that it would be a few minutes before our server could stop by because she just got double sat. Totally understandable I was a waitress for many years in college and know it sucks when you get sat multiple times or are the only server on the clock early in the evening. 20 minutes later, a different server shows up and eventually greets us. Very nice young lady who said she would be right back with our two beers. 10 minutes later, our drinks show up. We ask if we can order and she happily writes it all down and said she would be right back with our appetizer of a bread basket. 15 min later, she stops by and asks if we got our bread because our entrees are already ready. She could have looked at our empty table and realized that there was no bread, then asked if we still want it. We declined and said we'd like our burgers no problem just take the bread off our tab. The fries were undercooked and greasy. $18 burger was fine. Never came back to check on us. Had to waive her down to ask for our check. Of course, the bread appetizer was still on our bill and had to ask her to remove it, which added another 10 minutes to the experience. The whole time in this restaurant, there were only four tables (including us), so I'm not sure how the service could have been so awful. Food was just ok. I have no idea how we had such a bummer experience at this restaurant it looks so nice and the menu looked great online. Should have saved $40 on our $70 tab and ate at the chicken and waffles place next door."

"We had a late lunch after basketball tournament and candlemaking. It was a slow Sunday afternoon. We were greeted but without smiles. We ordered and the good was really good. The service was lacking as most the servers were gathered at the bar talking. Two people in our group were never asked about or received drink refills. We were checked on once after food arrived and at that point she was done until te for the check. She was nice but needs to learn the art of customer service.Again, the food was great."

"The carnitas were mostly fat and gristle, which is concerning for delivery orders that can't be returned immediately. The portion size was also small. The cheese dip, priced at $6, was more like a thin, runny soup than a proper dip. It's troubling that they would serve this."

"I find myself agreeing with other reviewers who mention that the Open Table listing and accompanying photo for this restaurant give the impression of a much more upscale dining experience than what it truly is. In reality, this is a restaurant located within a retirement community. We had made a reservation expecting a very different ambiance. Nevertheless, we decided to stay for our Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was decent, but a bit overpriced considering what we could have received at a more upscale venue. The service was fine, and the atmosphere was reminiscent of an Old Country Buffet. It was clear that other guests there for the prix fixe Valentine’s menu shared our disappointment. It would be beneficial for them to update their listing to better reflect the actual experience. I’m sure they will continue to do well with their regular clientele, but they should avoid misleading newcomers like us who were anticipating something different. Overall, the staff were nice, but the restaurant did not meet our expectations."
