Loving the new menu at the Hideaway this summer. Crab cakes are a must though nothing disappoints! Great food with the best views in Ocean Beach.

Big time change over last year. They got it right. Fire cracker clams were excellent. Fish was perfect. Drinks were cold and refreshing. Parked by boat outside the dock. Great sunset view.

This has always been in my opinion the best place to eat in Ocean Beach. However this season when I was there they did not have their liquor license. Crowd was not there and food was not as fresh as usual. Once this issue is solved I am sure they will go back to normal.

I really love the hideaway. The food and service are exceptional. They have one of the best spots to watch the sunset. Everyone gathered on the deck to watch the sun go down and it was gorgeous! After hours we had drinks and listened to great music in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Can't wait to go back! Voir le carte

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant on Fire Island with stunning waterfront views. The food and drinks were prepared perfectly, especially the Hideaway burger and Korean chicken. The Rum Punch complemented the island atmosphere of the restaurant and bar. I will definitely return next time I visit Fire Island.

The food at this restaurant is superior to most establishments on Fire Island. The stunning views distract from any unpleasant odors as you move through the dining area. The building is in need of significant maintenance. The service was friendly, and the management embodies the typical tourist restaurant stereotype, especially for one located on an island.
