Hi-lo Café - Carte

Great food. I had breakfast. Hubby had lunch. Omelette was typical diner fair. He had coyntry fried steak. He loved it. But the thing you must have are the shakes. Fantastik and reminesent of 50's quality and ample sample!! I will return again.

What an incredible restaurant! Great food! Huge portions. This will be our place for meals at any time we? in Weed. If you don't have room to cool and heat your rests, you might want to share something. This is our second time to eat here. We'll be back. This is half of the Grilled Chicken Avocado Club Sandwich.

Bonnie made this experience so wonderful and memorable!!! She was the waitress, busybody, cashier, seated everyone, took calls and ensured your order was correct. We arrived last night and had dinner here. It was so good we went back tonight again. Huge menu selection and the servings are really large! Everyone was so nice and pleasant. We will be eating there alot while we are in town. Can't wait to try the blackberry cobbler because they were out. My new favorite place. Not to mention the great view of Mt Shasta!

The portions here are enormous, and the food is quite tasty. The service was a bit slow due to the crowd—it's the only dinner spot in town—and there were only a few staff members available. The coffee was great. I tried the Reuben sandwich and a 12-ounce burger, which were both decent. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. The service was friendly overall.

The food here is excellent! I enjoyed a delicious breakfast while my husband had lunch. The omelette was your classic diner style, and he opted for the Country Fried Steak, which he absolutely loved. However, the real standout are the shakes—they're fantastic and truly reminiscent of the quality and generous portions from the 1950s! I can't wait to come back. Voir le carte

GREAT surprise! As a foodie I regretted only being able to eat one meal (well, half). Nestled in a classic looking motel, pot roast better than grandmas. Throw in a couple of nice wines and homemade cobbler, and I’m already planning my next trip so I can pass thru Weed and eat at this little cafe again. Plenty of room to park my truck and horse trailer across the street. If you have a choice, choose Hi-Lo Cafe! You will be very glad you did.

Highly recommended by my parents we had to try Hi-Lo on our stay in the area. The atmosphere was nostalgic but the restaurant could definitely use a bit of updating. Staff was very nice. Food was good but not exceptional. The spicy sausage patty they make that my parents absolutely love was good but a bit salty for my taste. I loved their shakes, it was very good and they give you the cylinder with your shake which is very rare now, big kudos for that!! My wife got eggs and sweet potato fries. She really enjoyed the sweet potato fries especially.

We have eaten there many times and the food has been over the top good. The last time we went it wasnt!!! I think they must have changed the cooking staff. I ordered a hot turkey sandwich. The piece of turkey was a thick slab of processed meat..spam like. It had a very small amount of gravy on it and none on the ample white bread underneath. Then my mashed potatoes were cold and the gravy was hot. Quite a contrast. The vegetables were very over heated and mushy. My daughter ordered a sandwich and not too sure what it was. It was grilled with cheese on the outside. Weird!!! It had cooked fresh tomatoes on the inside. Very unappealing. We also ordered 2 steaks and they were done very nice. Tha... Voir le carte
