"This restaurant is usually a great choice. The staff is consistently very friendly, although prices are on the higher side. For our family dinners, we typically order several dishes, which ends up being around $25 per person. The portions are generous, and we often have leftovers. However, during our visit last week, the cashew chicken was way too sweet for my taste. The sugar in that dish felt unnecessary, and I ultimately couldn't enjoy it and had to throw it away. I won't be ordering that again. I might also skip the kung pao chicken, as it was also too sweet and lacked any spiciness. Another diner commented on the hot and sour soup, which we do enjoy, although we always request that they leave out the shrimp."

The best Mongolian beef I've had! Great service. Kid-friendly. Reasonably priced lunch specials as well. Highly recommend!

Nice decor and good food. Their lunch specials have a good amount of food that tasted delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. I will definitely be back.

Can't give it a lower star rating. I don't usually do these but this place was far too expensive for the low quality this food is. Please I advise you go else where

Literally the best wonton soup. I crave it all the time. Also staff if super friendly and warm. The other food options are really good too. Portions are BIG! So excellent for sharing!

Our go-to Chinese food restaurant. Always delicious, great serving sizes (enough for leftovers and it's STILL just as good as the night before) and great service! Can't go wrong choosing this spot.

Look at Bruce H. review . This idiot said the food at House of Joy got him sick but was in Mexico a week before and he was fine. No moron, Mexico got you sick and you started to have symptoms when you got home. Common sense Brucey. Voir le carte

Nearly all the other dishes were excessively sweet. The house beef, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and kung pao chicken were all far too sugary! Overall, it was an absolute disaster of a meal and incredibly overpriced. I feel bad giving a small business a one-star review, but I hope they take this feedback to heart and make some improvements.

When ordering sweet and sour pork, always make sure to request the sauce on the side. In the past, they provided it in a separate bowl, allowing us to dip according to our preference. Unfortunately, this time they poured a massive amount of sauce over the battered pork, which made it inedible. As you can see in the pictures, it was so drenched that by the time I got it home, it had turned into a jelly-like mess, and I ended up having to throw the whole thing away. When I inquired about this, they informed me that I need to request the sauce on the side when ordering. It's a valuable lesson learned, especially after wasting the most expensive item we ordered.

"Dear Hubby and I have dined here a number of times since I posted my first review of them in 2016. We enjoy it, and it's a family friendly place, as well. Having the bakery onsite is a bonus. On a recent visit, the food quality wasn't quite as good as previous times. DH had the meatloaf, which was tasty, but on the dry side. Lots of gravy helped cover that over, but he didn't finish it, so I had it for lunch today and the texture was definitely not moist. Still had good flavor, though. I went for the fish tacos. I actually would have preferred the fish as a fish chips affair, as the well prepared white fish got lost in the tacos. Might even be better on a bun fish sandwich. I'll try to remember for another time. We enjoy their colorful, whimsical vintage vibe for the décor. The old fashioned belt driven fans overhead reminds one of bygone days. They'd added some bunny decorating touches, and colorful eggs in the spirit of Spring and Easter. Our server was friendly and charming, but not always readily available when we needed him. They weren't that crowded on a Wednesday evening, so that could have been smoother. The chocolate raspberry cake was excellent, and a very good value in these days of dessert prices soaring way past $10. It was just $5.95, and it really hit the mark as far as presentation and flavor profile. Dear Hubby opted for pie. They only had apple, but it was cinnamon y with a perfect flaky crust. Great finish to the meal. Tip from a friend if you order the California Chicken Salad, definitely have the dressing on the side, because it gets watered down among the greens and doesn't deliver a taste profile that's very interesting."

"Went for my birthday and got seated right away. We ordered drinks and guacamole and I ordered beef fajitas. They were good but needed lime juice or would have been to tasteless. The waiter was awesome and the man who brings drinks too. I liked the staff. But my friend ordered a tostada and it was covered in red enchilada sauce. She literally had to run to the bathroom due to the sauce. Tostadas should not use red sauce. It wasn't hot sauce but red enchilada sauce. Odd. I was pleased with my food and the cute little dessert they brought me for my birthday. Delicious flan. I was sad when I wanted to tip 15% and the electronic device had only 18% and two higher choices. Why don't they have 15% as a choice? Seems presumptuous and wring to assume I want to pay more when the bill was already over $50 for two plates and a small guacamole and two sodas? I pushed the custom tip button and paid 7$. I would have paid more had they not tried to force a customer to pay 18%. It's wrong. Reminded me if the Dodgers now wanting us to pay for a bag of peanuts using our credit cards on a handheld machine and also expecting 18% and up tips. Not me. I won't go to any more dodger games. Their hot dogs taste awful and getting tix and parking pass online was awful. Never could find the parking pass. Oh well I digress. Good food, great staff, but the tip forced down my throat not so good. And my poor friend was sick from the sauce."
