"My husband and I decided to make reservations for a date night here. We weren 't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a really fun adventure. Our server, Hunter, offered us a tour of all 3 floors while we waited for our food since we were asking so many questions. He told us about some quick facts about the historic building and let us take a look around. He was very hospitable and was nice enough to take his time to chat with us and deal with our jokes. The scallops were delicious. The entrees were pretty simple, but were tasty. We thought the food was a bit over salted, but we will go again in the future to see if it was a one-off. Overall, the atmosphere was very romantic, and it felt like we were able to time travel for a few hours and enjoy each other 's company. I had the 'Saint Jacques et Risotto au champignon et truffle ' as a small plate, and then for our Bigger Plates, we chose the 'Steak Frites ' and the 'Steak d 'élan avec ses légumes ' (elk). You need to go down to the 'cave ' bar and check out the bathroom. I wanted to take a picture, but you can just see for yourself!"

"Edited to update. Came back for breakfast, was not disappointed. I ordered from the lighter side menu and got biscuits and gravy and eggs benedict because I couldn't choose. Hubby got pancakes and my son got a burrito. The staff was great about keeping our coffee and waters full! Oh, you MUST try the jalapeño bacon, the best I've ever had! Great place. Just missed breakfast but decided to wait for lunch. The mozzarella sticks were fantastic. The order of garlic bread was massive. The seasoning the have on the tables was delicious. The coffee was good. The staff was phenomenal. I was disappointed in the french onion soup. The onions needed to be cooked more, but the flavor was good; I guess I'm spoiled, lol. Different tastes, apparently, because they have so many rave reviews. Overall, we're glad we stopped and would return. We are definitely going to try to come during breakfast hours, for starters."

"Sometimes I'm not sure what I'm more excited about: my birthday or anniversary or the fact I get to eat at the Waterfront. Nothing makes me as happy as knowing I'm about to experience impeccable service, exceptional food, and an elegant surrounding. The menu allows me to experience food I've only ever seen on the Food Network. The first time I tried escargot I wanted to scream with delight. The servers are amazing- they are all extremely knowledgeable about the menu and can even pronounce everything properly (haha). Before you even enter the building, you're greeted by the warm lights wrapped around the trees and the fountain. Inside, the decor makes you really feel like a VIP guest. But what really matters is the food- and the chefs hit the mark. With proteins perfectly cooked, vegetables re-imagined, sauces perfectly balanced, soups that taste like they have a million layers, and specialty creations like avocado gelato that makes you actually stop and think about what you're eating, I will look forward to every birthday or anniversary for years to come as long as I am lucky enough to dine at the Waterfront."

"Food not what it used to be. We were told new chef. Wedge salad had watery dressing not creamy like blue cheese. Few, if any, blue cheese crumbles. Pork chop was supposed to have peach bourbon dressing. It was very thin with no peach or bourbon taste. Not many customers there for a Saturday night. All in all a disappointment."

"Buzzard Billy's came recommended by the bartender at Pearl Street Brewery just up the road and boy did she know what she was talking about! From the time we walked in the door to the time we walked back out the door, the experience was top notch! Service was genuine, friendly and welcoming and the food was out of this world delicious!! Hubby had the Cajun Combo with the addition of dirty rice and he was blown away by all the flavors and portions! We've been to Louisiana and didn't have food this good, these folks totally know what they're doing! I had the Ca C'est Bon (Saw-Say-Bon) and I swear it was the best meal I've ever had in my life! The Cajun catfish is phenomenal and the sauce that the fried potatoes soak in is worthy of awards! The bread is a slice of heaven, all buttery and crunchy, fresh and soft but that corn... wow... what's with that corn... so good!! There are two other locations of Buzzard Billy's, both on our travel map journey if we're ever in the area. I sure hope we get back to this location some day because I will forever crave this meal!"
