The atmosphere was fantastic! The drink prices were reasonable, and the bartender was incredibly friendly. It's an ideal spot to unwind and savor a few cold drinks. Service: 5/5

We had a fantastic experience a few weeks ago. I just wish I could remember the name of our server, as he gave us an outstanding drink recommendation. It was so delicious that I can't seem to recall his name!

I didn't dine here, but the bar service was excellent, the dance floor was spacious and enjoyable, and the band (24/7) was outstanding. The setting by the lake was lovely, making for a perfect evening. The locals had great things to say about it, and they were spot on! Voir le carte

It took us 20 minutes to get a waitress, and the food was the worst I've ever had. The service was terrible, and the food was even worse. I had a cold shrimp basket and tacos that were a disaster—definitely not worth it. I would advise against going there. Food rating: 1/5.

On the bright side, the staff were incredibly friendly. The waitstaff was attentive, the boat rental team was very pleasant, and the manager was a kind woman who was helpful during our boat rental experience. I'm open to giving it another try, especially since their drink selection seemed quite inviting and the view was beautiful.

Hu-B's is a distinct gem located at Lake Barkley, featuring a carefully crafted bar and dining area that the local community has been eagerly waiting for. While relaxing on the deck by the marina, you'll feel an almost Floridian ambiance. The menu offers classic bar fare—delicious but not particularly groundbreaking. I would appreciate the addition of draft beers, as well as a wider selection that highlights local or craft options. Overall, it's a fantastic spot with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. This restaurant is quite pricey. I suppose diners are paying for the lovely ambiance rather than the food itself. For $13, you get a quarter-pound burger that tastes like it came straight from the freezer, along with two sides. If you choose coleslaw, it comes in a tiny cup. You can pay extra for onion rings, which are only about ten pieces. And that doesn’t even include a drink. So, if you order a quarter-pound cheeseburger, the two small sides, and a beverage, you're looking at a cost that's much closer to $20 rather than the initial $10.

Kid-friendliness: My kids had a great experience. We opted for the breakfast buffet, and while I did have to pay $6.99 for my 2-year-old, it was still a reasonable value. Parking: There was ample parking during our visit, but it seemed like it could become tricky during busy holiday weekends. Wheelchair accessibility: They offer multiple dining options—inside, on the porch, or outside in private booths—and it appeared to be more accessible for wheelchairs than many other places. (Having previously driven a wheelchair lift van, I tend to notice these things that could be helpful to others.)

Stopped here at the suggestion of a local resident. Left disappointed. The food was “ok”, but not as flavorful as we had hoped. We got the waygu burger and the stuffed tomato The service was bad; the wait staff took forever to bring our orders and when it came time for the check, we had to stand up and get the attention of another wait staff person who said she would tell our server to ring us up.
