"I ordered carry-out during today’s lunch service: crab salad, KBBQ beef short rib. Unfortunately, the small side of kimchi had clearly gone bad, so I set that aside. Then, I found that roughly 70% of each beef slice was fat; what little meat I could separate was like a thicker version of Jack Link’s teriyaki beef jerky. The avocado in the crab salad was also underripe. I’ve gotten takeout from Ichiban a handful of times before without any problem. I’m not sure what went wrong today, but wow did it go wrong."

Currently at Ichiban and it is wonderful! The food is different than what I'm used to but it was delicious. The decor is beautiful, I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Today, I had the pleasure of attending the monthly group lunch for the Emporia Chamber of Commerce. The service and food were outstanding. I ordered the Hibachi Chicken lunch, and it was delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out. It's a hidden gem in Emporia!

This is a great place to enjoy hibachi or sushi. I highly recommend the sushi, as they have an excellent selection. The steak and chicken hibachi was decent, but it was a bit too salty for my taste. I would suggest choosing the steak over the chicken, as the cuts and flavors are much better.
