"Cafe Santé was great. The duck French onion soup was rich and delicious. The garlic butter broth that my mussels were in was so good, I ended up drinking it all after I finished my mussels. The lemon sauce in the whitefish Á la meuniére was light and very fresh tasting. The pappardelle bolognese was tasty as well. We got a free dessert (an addicting creme brulee cheesecake) due to the host not notifying the servers that we were seated so it took awhile before anyone came to take our orders. I would come back again if I was in the area."

"I am a little surprised at some of the reviews I've read about this place being bad, but maybe you can chalk it up to either being Covid, or the fact that when we went it wasn't busy. It wasn't until we were leaving (12pm) that people were starting to file in. The first highlight I think is the place itself. It's a great building, it's a small city so you don't have to spend a lot of time choosing a place. Inside it's like a lot of tap rooms, open, airy, fairly long bar, number of taps. Someone whined about them being mostly IPAs...that was not the case when we went. They had a fine selection including a couple of high ABVs (Dragon's Milk) and a variety of other beer styles. I don't remember what I had but it was an IPA and it was good, it wasn't very cold but enough for me to enjoy sipping it. I had a George Dickel Rye shot after that was decent. I would come back for the other beers were I there. My girlfriend and I shared their Garlic Teriyaki wings and they were delicious. I don't know if they were the best I've had but very good crispy, tender, and bathed in this sauce that was both garlicky and very teriyaki. Yum. Service was fine, our bartender wasn't all over us but also checked on us as needed. There were also two waitresses ready to tackle the crowd, so I don't know, maybe they've upped their game or the people complaining...are being picky... So if you're in the area, don't hesitate to give it a try, and really, I was close to four stars."

"We had a great time enjoying the food and atmosphere, but we were disappointed to find that our reservation had been changed from three people to two upon arrival. They claimed they had no space available for us, even though there were two tables of four playing cards. When I showed them the app confirming our reservation, they eventually found a small table for two and added an extra chair. It worked out, but it wasn’t the most ideal setup. The food was good, and we had fun overall, though it was a bit pricey. I hope they can resolve their issues with OpenTable soon!"

"The atmosphere was warm and colorful. The food though, is salty. After 10 minutes of no acknowledgement we started looking on our phones for other places to eat at. No big deal. I noticed the host walk to the back and brought out a new waitress who treated us like we were a total inconvenience to her life from start to finish. As a former waitress, I am as easygoing as can be at restaurants and still tipped over 20%, but her attitude was completely uncalled for. We will not be returning as it’s uncomfortable to be placed with a rude server."

"Who doesn't enjoy a good game of bowling? Personally, I can only handle about two games before my thumb starts to protest, but my friends were eager to play, so we decided to check out this local spot. Just a heads up, Boyne City takes its bowling seriously—evident from the numerous championship banners proudly displayed, so be sure to show some respect. That said, we had a fantastic time. A big shout-out to Sammy at the bar—she was delightful and added to the fun of our visit. Definitely try the fries! I may have taken some pictures, but what I really loved about this bowling alley was the wilderness-themed decor in the middle of the lanes. Once you get there, you'll see what I mean. It's truly a hidden gem in Boyne City!"
