"I was quite surprised by some of the reviews because I had an incredible sandwich there this past Thanksgiving weekend. We were in the area and stumbled upon the place while searching for lunch, and it was our first time visiting. I ordered the Le French Baguette, and I can confidently say it was the best sandwich I've had in over a year—perhaps even longer. I'm still thinking about it and might be becoming a bit obsessed! Everything tasted incredibly fresh: the bread, the ham, the generous slices of brie, the lettuce, and the tomato. Each ingredient complemented the others perfectly, and the Dijon mustard added just the right kick. Since it was made to order, it took about 10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I enjoyed it about 15 minutes after picking it up, and there was no sogginess at all. The portion was generous, and the price was very reasonable. Although we live in Manhattan, I will definitely be making a trip back there. I'm looking forward to it and hope they can maintain their high standards!"

"Severely overpriced, I wanted a simple bagel with salmon, it was $17 plus coffee is almost $4, I settled for a regular bagel with cream cheese and coffee and still paid $10, this is unheard of, I’m a New Yorker, a coffee and a bagel shouldn’t be over $5 together and maybe 2-3$ for fish, this place is a rip off, they also messed up my coffee, it’s not that hard to understand black coffee which they kept asking me about and still gave me milk. I’m upset, feel ripped off but I’m already out of time and have to get to work. Never coming back here again, for $20 you can have a feast for breakfast if you know your way around the city, I really wanted to give these guys a try but nope,"

"Puis-je manger tous les repas à Loring Place ??? Je suis allé au restaurant peut-être à plusieurs reprises au cours de l’année dernière et cela ne déçoit jamais. "A True Hidden Gem! We were staying at a hotel down the road from Zen and were looking for a quick and easy dinner—what a great choice it turned out to be! The ambiance was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious, all at a very reasonable price. Wenti was wonderful; she went above and beyond for us, constantly refilling our water, clearing the tables, and ensuring we were enjoying our meal. We also visited during Happy Hour, which allowed us to enjoy an abundance of food and drinks at an incredibly good value. This was by far my favorite dinner on our trip to New York, and we will definitely return next time!"
