They asked last order before they serve our order they forgot to process. Again 2hours limit made us hurry to eat. Our table was empty because they did not process the order.

Parking is convenient. The noise level ranges from moderate to high. The food is enjoyable, although they charge for ginger with your sushi! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant tends to be quite busy. They primarily use a card payment system, but we paid in cash. They mention that the portion sizes are moderate for sharing.

The grilled beef tongue is the star tonight. Sweet shrimps are tasty but not special. I also like beef wrapped uni, my first time trying it and it was GOOD. The miso soup is not too bad but I don't think it is necessary for the meal. Mayo crispy shrimpsare not recommended. Overall, we had a great time here. The staff are so nice and friendly! Solid izakaya, albeit with a relatively limited menu. We loved everything we ordered. The sukiyaki on cold udon was a really pleasant surprise. They even crack a soft, runny egg on top at the table. Beautiful and delicious. The yakitori is solid. I'd highly recommend the chicken meatball. The service is fantastic. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. They also open late, till 11pm. Would highly recommend this wonderful spot!

An absolute new favorite. Everything on the menu tasted fresh and delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The service was also supreme and everyone made us feel welcome and at home. Props to chef Matt for some AMAZING sushi dishes. Easily the best food I’ve had in my entire life! I am from CT but I know whenever I am in California I will make the trip to Hachi because it was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Very good food. The beef tongue was our favorite. It has a very thick cut and is tender as well as very well seasoned. The oysters, salmon and eel sushi, we ordered, were very fresh. The uni beef sashimi was alright. The taste of the soy sauce was a little bit too strong and the uni did not taste sweet. The pressed salmon sushi was only okay since it has too much rice in comparison to the salmon. Overall, the food, particularly the beef tongue is very delicious. Will definitely return.

This is a great izakaya, although the menu is somewhat limited. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The Sukiyaki with cold Udon was a delightful surprise, especially with the soft, runny egg they crack open at the table. It was both nice and delicious. The Yakitori was also excellent, and I highly recommend trying the chicken meatball. The service here is fantastic; the staff is very helpful and friendly. They also stay open late until 11:00. I would definitely recommend this wonderful place!

The Best Bento Ever, and cooked to perfection! I wished I'd found this place sooner as soon as I saw this Bento to go. It came in a Large square bento box 11 inch square photo shown is for one person , everything was delicious. Steak, Pork, ShrimpTempura were cooked to perfection, real crab meat and salmon roe and salmon on rice, oyster katsu, egg, Karaage, octopus seafoodsalad, potato salad, edamame, and Pickled radish.
