"Unnecessarily huge menu, nice service, good burger, questionable signs, kittens in the back. Came in for some adventuring after being out on the dunes nearby. Our waitress was Nicole who was brand new but very sweet. She gave what opinions she could tohelp us but realistically she'd only been there like, 2 weeks. I looked at the menu and that thing was insanely big. Just, waytoo much to figure out what they were supposed to specialize in. I got the inferno Burger and was surprised at how good theside salad was. Especially. This place isn't exactly agricultural Central so I was willing to put up with a lot but it tastedgreat. The burger itself had good ingredients and was a solid medium. The jalapenos were obviously fresh, sliced and lightlyseared. There is no live entertainment tonight but I overheard some people say it got pretty wild and there were some more...aggressive people That would stop by and occasionally bump heads. I was too busy eating to hear much. But it was backed up bythe signs in the back. While trying to take a video I actually spotted five kittens! They were so cute but I was not in anysort of place to rescue them late at night and my husband would kill me if I brought home more. Would probably come here againwithout the promise of kittens lol, it looked like one of the best places the town had to offer. I'd probably just make sure notto come if there are too many guys in conflicting colors"

"The food is usually quite good, but they really messed up my order this time. I received an entirely different dish than what I had asked for. Normally, I wouldn't mind this so much, but the wrong item seemed poorly prepared and almost as if it had been done on purpose, which is disappointing. I always leave a tip when I order, so this experience was particularly disheartening. I tried to enjoy what they gave me but simply couldn't, and I don’t think they would offer a refund. I hope they can do better next time."

"The last time my girlfriend and I visited this restaurant, we walked in to enjoy a meal. After placing our order, we looked for a table to sit at but couldn’t find a single clean one. Every table was covered in dead flies. I wasn't sure if the issue was just with the dining area or if it extended to the kitchen as well. I went there on March 21, 2024, and I still haven't received the refund I requested after experiencing this. I'm quite disappointed with this place, especially since it’s usually decent."

"When you live in Cattle Call Home of the Wildcats town of Brawley what is there for kids to do? Few things: 1. Drive your shitty hand-me down truck near the haystacks and drink some strawberry flavored Boones with your pals. 2. Go to some shitty house party/gig where every loser you went to school with plays in a band. 3. Make it a half hour road trip to Mexicali in the good ol Baja and get drunk for less than 10 bucks at some club full of pop-collared pimply-faced 18-year olds, all the athletes and their respective cheerleader girlfriends losing their dignity in cages. OR You can hit up the Donut Shop! Not to be confused with Tasty Donuts this is THE Donut Shop that is open 24 hrs and won 't mind you hanging out with your friends there as you sip on your iced tea. Beware, you are bound to run into almost half of the student population in your old school! It only gets four stars because after I moved away to college I don 't go there anymore, in fear of running into people...I might quickly sneak in for a sweet tea."
