Jack's Outback - Carte

Great service, good food, atmosphere a bit loud and distracting with my hearing aids.

Jack's was recently sold. Before the sale, we went regularly. Everything was good. The new owner doesn't seem to know how to run a restaurant. Very disappointing

Big changes under new owners. Food is so so, often not as ordered. Big staff changeover. Not the same place. Been going there for 20 yrs. . Won't be back soon unless ratings improve. Voir le carte

Almost a year after the owner of the cafe changed, changes are now noticeable; the food has become a little different from what it was. I can't say whether this is good or bad. I was disappointed not to see my favorite Benedict blt on the menu. but the atmosphere was still preserved of the same place where we used to come for breakfast.

This is a cool spot with an excellent staff, but the food was just average. I was expecting something really special, but it fell short. The breakfast was quite bland, and the portion size was smaller than I anticipated. Unfortunately, I won’t be in a hurry to return. It's disappointing because the location and building are really fantastic.

Wow, this place is incredible! The staff is very attentive, with more than one waitress checking to ensure you're well taken care of. The popover with scrambled eggs, ham, tomatoes, and home fries was the best thing I've ever eaten. The eggs were incredibly fresh, the tomatoes were also fresh, and the popover was fluffy and packed with flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. A+! Voir le carte

BLT was a joke. 1 tomato 2 slices of bacon and 1 piece of lettuce with mayo. Bread was soggy from what I don't even want to know. The haddock chowder was from a can I couldn't even find any haddock. Never mind the teaspoon I had to eat it with. And the potato salad was way to strong with pickle juice!!! Not busy and it took forever to get our meal. Awful!!!! Not like the old Jack's for sure!!!

Stopped in for Saturday brunch around 10:30 and was seated right away. Drink orders taken and brought quickly. Started with a pop over, which was good. Breakfast was delivered relatively quickly and hot. Pancake batter wasn't great but blueberries were fresh. Eggs were prepared well, toast was well buttered and sides good. Chicken sausage was a good alternative meat option, very tasty. Would recommend

We returned this year eager to enjoy the delightful and delicious meals we had experienced before. However, this time, while the food was decent, the service was appalling! The wait for our breakfast was absurdly long, especially considering how slow the restaurant was. The waitress also seemed to struggle with understanding the menu. I ordered hash, which was supposed to come with toast and potatoes. I specifically requested the homemade English muffin toast, like I had on previous visits, but she charged me for it and delivered a regular English muffin instead. It was undercooked and not what I asked for, so I sent it back. It took forever to get the replacement, and when it finally came,... Voir le carte
