Oh yeah this hit the spot, the hot Italian type of sandwich we got was PERFECT! Classic pep is great every time. We tried the Sicilian too, I'd recommend that for a bigger group because it just being the wife and I we had a lot left over

1st visit here since moving to the area.. I'm an East coast guy and I gotta be honest, this was some of the worst overpriced pizza I've had in a long time. Also ordered a calzone and we threw it in the trash, was disgusting.. This was an expensive lesson but you never know till you try it. We won't go back.

I was heading up camping and we didn't feel like making dinner the first night, so picked up a pizza on the way. Got a large 3-topping pizza w/ sausage, pepperoni and mushroom. Not the best pizza I've had, but pretty good crust, good sauce and toppings. Did take almost 40 minutes, but my friends were glad I stopped! Voir le carte

Got a Yelp account just to do this review. Great pizza and owners. My husband and I eat here about once a week. It's the best pizza we've had in San Diego County and it's family owned. When I eat out I want amazing food. The owners are always welcoming. Everyone I introduce Janos pizza to becomes addicted. We've tried everything on the menu and it's all delicious! Amazing food and prices. Never have had an issue. You won't be disappointed!

We're so glad to have this family run business in our community. My kids love their red sauce and they do a solid job with their pizzas. They are my, I'm not cooking tonight go to. Being an east coast, New Haven style pizza lover is how I look at things. Thin crust, blodget oven, easy on sauce.... I would love to see them go with a higher gluten, thinner crust but that's about the only thing I can say. Wonderful kind family and food made with love!

Am I allowed to give it 10 stars? I am a self proclaimed pizza snob. With a mother from NYC and growing up in the Detroit area, I was spoiled with great, quality pizza. So, it 's a big deal when a pizza shop surprises me as much as Jano 's did. I ordered the small veggie pizza and added sausage. It was huge for a small size pie. Also, there was no skimping on the ingredients packed with goodness. The first bite was a revelation! The dough is almost like Detroit style, which is based on foccacia bread deliciously rich and fluffy with a thin, tender crust on the bottom. Simply amazing! I can 't wait until my next visit!
