We had a great time at this restaurant. The food was delicious, but the noise level was a bit high. The wait staff was friendly, but seemed to be absent at times. We had to ask for to-go boxes and the check more than once. Voir le carte

Not enough signs to let you know that they are open. Went there for lunch, chicken kobideh and chicken kabob was very tasty and meat temperature was great, our server was very polite, we tried baklava not so good … but overall good food!

Javan Restaurant in Los Angeles is awesome! The food is delicious, and the people who work there are really nice. The place has a cool vibe, and I loved trying the different Persian dishes. It's a great spot for tasty food and a good time!

The food was excellent. It was my first time dining here in 30 years and I was pleasantly surprised. They used to have a great muhamara dish, but unfortunately it's no longer on the menu. The kabobs were moist, tender, and delicately marinated, making them delicious. Voir le carte

We went there yesterday for late lunch. Very nice restaurant and clean. The food was delicious and the prices were on par with other Persian restaurant in the area. But the portion was bigger. We got the tadig and soltani. I would go back. The only issue was parking. You have to find street parking.

I had a fantastic time at Javan. I missed it while it was closed for a while but was impressed with the current management's friendliness and attentiveness. The food was delicious and I will definitely be returning whenever I can. It's a perfect spot for a family get-together or to celebrate a special occasion.

I went here with my girlfriend on a date. What makes review for Javan difficult was the hit and miss nature of both food and service. Kabob, vegetable, and tomato stews were very good. But the yogurt dip and cheese appetizers were not. The cheese was rather tasteless and yogurt tasted stale. The service was the low point. One of our appetizers was never delivered to the table (they took it off the bill), no one really checked on us during our dinner to make sure things were ok (they were not), and staple items such as bread was missing until we got wait staff's attention and specifically ask about 10 min after the appetizers were delivered.
