"I was so disappointed with my experience at Jimmy 's Taverna that I would give it zero stars if I could. I had made reservations there for a birthday celebration, and from the moment we walked in we were greeted with attitude from the bartender, who was not wearing a mask even though there were signs indicating that masks are required there. (When I stated that we had a reservation, his response was Oh how nice for you. Not sure what we might have done to warrant this kind of treatment. We were denied a special request related to our meal by the chef, and it seemed that almost as if to punish us, our food was left under the heating lamp for quite some time, drying it out and making it barely inedible. The service was indifferent at best, and at one point we were ready to walk out as it didn 't seem to matter to the staff whether or not we stayed. Later that evening, two of the three people in our party were sick to our stomach from the meal. I will never dine here again, and hope that others will heed my advice with all of the wonderful restaurants at Mammoth, I suggest looking into a place that values its customers and serves food that you can actually enjoy."

This was our first time at Jimmy’s Taverna. It was a lovely experience. The staff was so nice. The food was amazing. The drinks were so so good!!! We will definitely be returning.

The food was decent, but I wouldn't recommend the fish. The tables were too closely packed together for comfort. We requested a table away from the crowded area, but we were informed it was reserved for larger parties. Shortly after, a group of three was seated there anyway.

It’s tempting to ascribe the downfall from our prior great experience two years ago to this evening to Covid-induced supply chain issues but I don’t think that captures the changes that we saw. The pita-based appetizer was the highlight of the meal and the rest was just sort of uninspired. Service was spotty other than attentive water service. Out of beer of literally any kind) is okay? Not at this price. I hope they can recapture the style they had some time ago but for now I would, regrettably, not return. Voir le carte

the food was good. the pita appetizer with hummus was delicious! the best pita I had! the pita tasted spiced and grilled and the humus was creamy and tasty, but not too garlic! my man has a lamb chaserole. he said it was delicious, but the part was not that big. our beautiful Brazilian server was fast and warm and friendly! we had the most beautiful talks with her! love her and hope she has succeeded in all her adventurous! our two only suggestions update the seating area and offer some warm and decaffeinated in the night (no coffee or tea)

the food was good. The pita appetizer with hummus was delicious! The best pita I have had! The pita tasted seasoned and grilled and the humus was creamy and tasty but not too garlicy ! My husband got a lamb type of casserole. He said it was tasty, however the portion was not that big. Our beautiful Brazilian server was quick and warm and friendly! We had the most wonderful conversations with her! Love her and hope she succeeds in all her adventures! Our two only suggestions-update the sitting area and offer something warm and decaffeinated at night (no decaf coffee or tea)
