"Yesterday, my sisters treated me to Brunch for my birthday at Venture, where I had previously eaten at for lunch and had fond memories of (pre-pandemic). Unfortunately, it's changed, and not necessarily for the better in my view. I remember it as being a farm-to-table gem, where you could find innovative and healthy options as a regular thing. Maybe you still can achieve those but just not at Brunch on a Sunday. I first thought I'd get the Cherries Jubilee French Toast; but upon finding out from our server that the cherries were going to be the consistency of cherry pie filling I searched for something I hoped would be healthy. I picked from the regular Brunch menu the King's Plate because I figured the root vegetable hash would offer some tasty and relatively healthy ingredients. The flavors of the root vegetables were sadly overpowered by the excessive garlic in the heavy sausage gravy. The homemade biscuit was a perfect accompaniment, however. It just would've been nice to have some fresh fruit served with it. There was nothing on the regular or particular Sunday Brunch specials menu to recommend it for a 2nd try. I may give regular lunch another try. Or I may go somewhere I'm more confident of getting a healthy, fresh, reasonably priced meal. The service was great, and as always, I tipped our server of her effort, not my satisfaction with the food. There's great potential at Venture, and I always remembered it as being a great destination restaurant- one you'll drive more than the usual miles to get to- but it needs some work to recreate a more universally enticing menu."

"Stopped in around 8pm last Wednesday evening with my daughter for some good food. The food was excellent and the service great as well but we were seated in a section that had a party of 10 or so who were extremely loud making it so hard to hear our server and place our orders. I didn't dock the restaurant a star for this as their behavior wasn't too out-of-control but it would have been nice if they had seated the 2 of us in a quieter section of the restaurant. The food was great and the margarita top-notch. We were very happy to come here and, after the loud crowd left, had an enjoyable evening. The food and service are great and prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend stopping here to scratch that itch for delicious Mexican food!"

"Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month at Pho 79 yesterday for lunch while in Hampton after trying on Mother of the Groom Dresses! My lunch was delicious from the Tom Hoa Tien (Rocket Shrimp) to my Bun Dac Biet had the combo meats since I couldn 't decide! Lol The staff were wonderful everyone was working hard and supporting each other very friendly, welcoming and all showed a great sense of humor. I would definitely go back! Check it out!"

"I ordered a Smitty's Super Burger with crinkle-cut fries (they also offer waffle fries), along with a Diet Coke. My food was delivered to my car in about five minutes. I paid $8.19 for lunch and added a little tip for my car hop, which was well worth it. The burger was hot, juicy, and bursting with flavor. If they use frozen patties, you'd never know—it was seasoned perfectly and expertly cooked on a flat top. The bun was soft and held up beautifully against all the juices and condiments, while the toppings were fresh and crisp—great pickles too! The fries were hot, salted, and delicious; crinkle cuts are hard to beat when fried right, frozen or not. My Diet Coke was icy with the perfect syrup-to-soda ratio. I posted some pictures above. After finishing my meal, I turned on my lights, and my car hop promptly came over to take my tray, thanking me for my visit. What a fantastic experience! If you find yourself in Hampton, be sure to stop by Smitty's Better Burger—it's just a great time with delicious food! Thanks, Smitty's; after 50 years in business, you guys have still got it!"

"(Organized chaos This place enticed me, when I passed by it this morning. The drinks were great. (Mathew is definitely the one you want making your drinks. This guy seemed to be a c*cky, d*ck at first, but actually not so much. The other bartenders were good as well. However, this guy definitely knew his sh*t. The apps were 'OK '. They were a bit salty for my taste. However, they weren 't terrible. Let 's put it like this, I wasn 't tempted to send anything back. If you 're a Tequila connoisseur, this is definitely the place for you. The 'El diablo ' is the equivalent of overtime. Often heard about. However rarely ever seen. This drink is something that you won 't find on the standard beverage menu. Nonetheless it is made exceptionally well. I 'd order it twice, if that means anything. I 'm definitely tempted to see how good the tacos are next time."
