The latte was perfect! The croissant arrived a bit squished, but it was delicious!

The Quality of food and drinks was fantastic the taste was great the only downside is I did not get any straws with the drinks. Being outside with no access to a straw was a little rough however overall was great.

Doble Cordito is the ideal place for me to kick off my morning; it really helps keep me awake! The Venezuelan beef empanada is absolutely addicting! Everything is always incredibly fresh, and I can’t resist ordering the Pan de Bono whenever I’m here—it pairs perfectly with my coffee. Juan Valdez is my go-to spot when I crave strong coffee and unique pastries to start my day!

I love strong coffee, but I found the flavor to be quite intense—so strong, in fact, that I couldn’t finish the entire drink. On the positive side, I also ordered a guava and cheese pastry, which was warmed up. OMG, it was incredible! I could easily devour ten of them in one sitting; they were that good! I think I'll definitely return to this café when I need a good pick-me-up, but I do wish the coffee wasn't quite so strong for my taste. Voir le carte

Coffee and pastries were good, the service was awful. From the beginning the employees looked at us with disdain and treated us like pariahs. We asked questions about their products and all we got were shrugs. No words were exchanged. They handed out the coffee and pastries like they were going to catch something from us. I’ve never been treated so poorly. We are local, have connections to this community and will definitely not be back to this location.

This charming little spot offers delicious pastries and EXCELLENT coffee. At first, I thought they were just trying to capitalize on the JV name, but they truly deliver with friendly service, inviting decor, high-quality beans, and fresh pastries. I tried the Buñuelo for the first time, and it was fantastic. I've had my fair share of Pan de Bono over the years, and this one was just as enjoyable. While I'm not an expert on Colombian bakeries, I've visited other similar establishments, and I noticed their pastries tend to be slightly larger than those at JV. I placed my order for a medium latte with oat milk and a pump of vanilla and waited about five minutes. When I took my first sip, I was blown away. Oh my! It was absolutely amazing. If you're a coffee lover and someone describes a cup of coffee as phenomenal, you absolutely need to try it. This coffee has real flavor. It's not just a strong brew; it's strong and robust, but in a delightful way. The beans are roasted perfectly—not burnt at all, but rich, nutty, and full of depth.
