K-bob's Steakhouse - Carte

My partner and I were in Red for the night and decided to drive around to find a place to eat. By chance, we stumbled upon this restaurant.

I was very disappointed with the lunch special at this restaurant. The pork apron for $16.50 was not appetizing - it was tough and lacked flavor. However, the staff were friendly.

My husband and I got the charloin with brown gravy and mashed potatoes. It was so bland, you could serve it at the old folks' home. Nice staff and decent service though! I forgot to get a photo of our meals, but here's the fried Pickles. They're crunchy and pretty yummy!

Decent food, just ok service. Prices are a little high, but everything is I guess. It was $60 without the tip for two people for lunch and we both did not eat steaks, we just had tea to drink and no appetizers so I do think it was a little overpriced. We both got fries with our meals, and one set of fries were overdone and the other set of fries weren't quite done enough and as someone who runs a kitchen, you never send two different colored foods of the same kind to the same table! They cater to locals and treat others as pretty much nothing.

We stopped in here thinking it would be nice to get a break from sitting in the car. It was definitely a break... I don't know how the chicken fried steak is, because we waited for over an hour and it never came, so we left. Service is obviously super slow, though the people were friendly enough. It took maybe 20 minutes just to get a soft drink, and then they brought me a salad that I couldn't eat until I got silverware from a nearby table. Seems like a nice local spot for those who have nowhere else to be..... Prepare yourself for probably 2-3 hours if you want drinks, an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. The woman and I stopped here after spending the last five days on the road from the West Coast. We were recommended this place by the KOA along the way. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, and my wife opted for the T-bone steak. Honestly, we didn't have high expectations for our meal; after all, this is what you often get on the road! When our food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. We started with fried pickles and mozzarella sticks as appetizers, and they arrived impressively quickly. I’m not sure what they do to their mozzarella sticks, but they were absolutely delicious! The pickles were equally tasty. When my salmon and his 16oz ribeye steak came out, the real test began. My salmon was well-cooked—maybe a bit on the dry side—but still flavorful and delicate. The rice had a few crispy bits, but that didn’t bother me much. I also ordered seasonal vegetables to go with my salmon, and they were slightly dry, but with a touch of butter, they were perfect! I and my boss drove back to Texas when he came from colorado springs when he mentioned a steakhouse he really wanted to visit. I found it on the map and low and see it was K-Bobs! I've read some cripples and they all looked good at me, so we gave it a bit. we went by noon with a Wednesday and it was not packed at all. the personal was so nice and helpful, and the restaurant itself was quite comforting with its wheel wall lights above, and other decoration of similarity. we ordered fried pickles and mozzarella sticks as appetizer, and they came quite dang fast.
