Very poor quality. Do not waste your time and money. Very unwelcoming staff and interior. Broken plastic cup. Not fresh ingredients. I'm still hungry immediately after the visit as we could not finish them. Worth zero star. Who gave good reviews? I was totally scammed by the reviews here..

My wife and I visited KAI recently and had a fantastic Japanese meal. She enjoyed the Saba Shioyaki while I had the Don Katsu, and both dishes were delicious. Despite the busy atmosphere and limited staff, our food was brought to us with a smile. We definitely plan on returning to KAI in the future.

We ordered a mackerel combo and a roll. The amount was just right, the fish was very tasty and they had a great combo tempura selection. They had quick service and everyone was very nice. If you want simple and fast sushi on the go, this place is perfect. Would definitely make this my go to sushi place. Voir le carte

Place is cool. Food was good and didn't think the salmon would of been the size it was otherwise I wouldn't I'd added the salmon rolls. . Had tv for sport viewers to watch the games and currently had the NBA finals playing so it was nice sushi dine spot. And prices is do-able, not so expensive. Thank you for the enjoyable dinner.

Still the same great place. I've been going here over 18+ years. Good prices (one of the few more affordable sushi places around west side). Huge rolls, very filling. It's not just big portions, the food actually is really good. And they do bentos all day, even at dinner on a Sunday bento is only $15. The place is well kept, clean, good service, friendly staff. Overall great place that actually makes it doable to go out.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The chicken teriyaki was phenomenal, with a delicious wood charcoal smoke flavor from the grill that added an extra depth to the dish. It's perfect for those warm summer nights in the Bay Area. The gyoza was perfectly fried, with a rich pork filling that blended well with the crispy dumpling shell. The side salad had a tasty sweet dressing that complemented the simple ingredients. The fluffy rice was perfectly cooked and well-prepped. The house-made teriyaki sauce was outstanding, with a 10/10 rating for its wood fire smoke profile.
