I give this restaurant three stars because the service was good, but the wasabi tasted like old toothpaste. My sashimi had thick, uneven cuts, and the white fish was ice-cold and watery. I won't be returning. However, my wife really enjoyed her boiled concoction sushi, which is another reason for the three stars—it definitely wouldn’t have been a two-star experience. I usually agree with other five-star reviews, but this visit didn’t meet my expectations.

It's worth mentioning that we've enjoyed Kokai Sushi in the past; the food was typically fresh and delicious. We usually order through either DoorDash or UberEATS, but this time we had to use Sauce delivery, which unfortunately proved unhelpful when our order was unacceptable. I can't fathom that Uber or DoorDash would refuse to assist in a situation like this, which raises questions about why the restaurant has chosen to partner with Sauce. It almost seems like they’re avoiding accountability for poor food quality and service. Voir le carte
