Kwan's Sampan - Carte

If you are ordering for Christmas, you have to call them because they increased all prices $3 of each item for today.. no thanks.. all ready overpriced..

We ordered online for pick up. Receipt said $111 but when we got back home they charged the card for $145. While the food was good, not great, it was extremely overpriced with equally small portions.

We ordered from Kwan's again and just like before , everything was wonderful! When we picked up the food the gentleman explained each dish and made sure I knew what we had. Then when we ate it- the teriyaki chicken, garlic chicken , orange chicken and Mongolian beef were all superb! We will be back! Voir le carte

I've been coming to this spot for over 10 years. The food is always hot and fresh, fast service open seating from booth to tables. Great place to stop in and try out some lunch specials or dine for dinner. Serving up family style portions. Vibe is very casual with a small bar located inside separate from dining area.

This is a great neighborhood place for fresh delicious Chinese food. I love the shrimp chow mein, egg drop soup and wontons. The dining room is traditional Chinese decor. There is a bar on the other side where you can listen to music, watch the game, play pool or darts. Nicky the owner/bartender is warm and adorable. She really makes the place welcoming. I love this place suey much!

I've been visiting this restaurant since the 1980s. Although it has changed ownership a few times, the quality of the food has remained outstanding. I particularly love their chicken fried rice with bean sprouts instead of peas and carrots. The egg foo young patties are both delicious and massive. I also really enjoy their chicken dishes, especially the sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken. The portion sizes are very generous. This restaurant is a true hidden gem. We brought my mom here for lunch on Lunar New Year, and we were the only ones in the dining area, which made for a cozy atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the food reminded me of the fantastic Cantonese cuisine you can find back on the East Coast. The egg drop soup, sweet and sour pork, crab puffs, and General Tso's chicken were all standout dishes. The decor of the restaurant took me back to the late '80s and early '90s, creating a distinctive vibe. Mesa, you’re really missing out! If I lived closer, I’d be dining here all the time.

I was so disappointed that 'fried rice ' doesn 't mean what it used to mean at this restaurant. They charged me $1.50 to select fried rice over white rice, but there 's nothing to it but a few drops of soy sauce added. I remember fried rice always included mixed vegetables and scrambled eggs. However, this is the second Asian restaurant attempting to save money and now fried rice DOES NOT include either but maybe soy sauce for a flavor. In the late 60 's and in to the early 2020 's, I used to be able to find authentic fried rice. This is not the case anymore. I will stop patronizing restaurants who cheat me out of what I requested.

The food at this restaurant is exceptional—perfect for either takeout or dining in. We always order the beef and broccoli with white rice, which comes with egg drop soup, and the portions are quite generous. The small bar adjacent to Kwan's has a charmingly vintage vibe reminiscent of the 1980s; the only thing it seems to lack is ashtrays and cigarettes. They serve only bottled drinks, with no draft beer available. You can enjoy your Kwan’s meal on the bar side if you’d like. There's also a pool table and a dartboard, although the dartboard is unfortunately a bit worn. What surprises me most is how empty the place usually is, though I must admit I enjoy having the space to myself. Voir le carte
