La Michoacana Ice Cream

I had a creative experience with the tamarind raspado and elote in a cup. Everything was delicious, but it was a bit pricey.

New owners have taken over, and after trying the tostilocos today, I’m disappointed. I noticed they have new employees, and when I placed my order, the staff didn’t ask me if I wanted mango or cueritos included. They simply said they don’t add those ingredients anymore. This was the saddest tostilocos I’ve ever had—definitely not up to par.

Situated in the Albertsons shopping center next to the smoke shop, this restaurant offers excellent customer service! The atmosphere is pleasant and clean, and there is indoor seating available. I tried the bionico with sweet cream, and it was delicious! You can choose between sweet cream or yogurt, but I highly recommend the sweet cream, as it is made in-house.

We ordered 3 different Paletas; Guanabana, Pineapple Tamarindo with Chamoy. I was disappointed in my Guanabana. It's usually flavorful with a few pieces of fruit but this time it lacked flavor and I was excited I got 1 piece of fruit at the bottom. Pineapple was very good with lots of fresh fruit chunks and so was the Tamarind with Chamoy. This location practiced social distancing and was very clean. Friendly staff. Voir le carte

So good I didn't even have time to take a pic of my double scoop of ice cream The employee was super friendly and even made a recommendation of her fave flavor which was delicious- something blue I think Cookie Monster. Got that and a scoop of strawberry. My stepdaughter got two scoops of Cookie Monster. We inhaled it. I grabbed a cucumber lemon drink while I was there which was really delicious. Very sweet so I diluted it when I got home but I would totally get it again.

I absolutely love this place! I’m so happy it opened a few years ago, and I can’t believe I waited so long to check it out. They offer a fantastic selection of Mexican paletas, and my favorite is the wholeito, but there are countless other varieties to choose from. They also serve regular ice cream in various flavors, and they get really creative with mixes. I tried a cup of corn topped with crushed Hot Cheetos, and it was delicious. My wife had the chicharrón with chili and lime, which was also very good. Lastly, my son got a chamango, and wow, it was fantastic!

I walked in on a Friday night, it was not busy whatsoever. Upon entering I was greeted. Once I mentioned I wanted fresas con crema the young lady working asked if I wanted them with ice cream. She was extremely friendly and had such a great attitude. I had never heard of fresas con crema being served with ice cream. The bottom portion is ice cream (you can pick any flavor, I opted for galletas María). This by far has the best the best fresas con crema I have ever had. Combining the flavor of the crema and the ice cream was the best decision ever. There was no music playing, but the young made the experience of ordering fast and entertaining. Voir le carte
