"We went at lunchtime and were the third group seated so not many people were present. That was a good thing as I heard this place can get swamped with customers in a hurry. Reservations are a must. I’ll get right into the food. Bread and olive oil are top notch as was the cauliflower side dish that we used as an appetizer since the paella takes 35-45 minutes to make. In the meantime we drank a beautiful Spanish White wine that was suggested by our server, who by the way was an excellent waiter with a good sense of humor and not overbearing or agitating. The Paella was the best I’ve ever had and the small version was more than enough for the 2 of us. We took leftovers home. The shining star was their freshly made curios served with warm chocolate for dipping which were so good that I felt guilty that our kids weren’t able to sample them with us that I ordered an order to go so they could have some at home. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in America. YOU NAILED IT AND WE WILL BE BACK!!! Well done to the owner, kitchen, and servers."

Fantastic restaurant, their menu is amazing, I wanted to try nearly all of their dishes. Was a great relaxed atmosphere, nice without being too fancy, prices were very reasonable for the quality.

Ls Rambla is our favorite restaurant in McMinnville. The food is consistently good, service friendly and responsive and the atmosphere is festive. We don't eat out often but usually choose La Rambla when we do.

Great choice of tapas. Loved everything we tried, especially the fried green beans. The small paella was full of seafood/sausage and very generously sized. Service was prompt and very good. Would highly recommend. Voir le carte

We celebrated our 56th wedding anniversary at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially since my husband is disabled and moves slowly with a cane. Despite it being a busy and noisy Friday evening, we had a wonderful time.

I had a wonderful birthday dinner at La Rambla! I traveled from Denver with a group of seven friends in their twenties to celebrate my birthday and explore the Willamette wine country. The restaurant had a wide variety of dishes, including options for vegans and vegetarians. Having studied in Southern Spain during college, I had not yet found a Spanish restaurant in the US that captured the delicious food and atmosphere I experienced there. La Rambla not only served amazing food, but also brought back fond memories. The staff was accommodating when I called to change my reservation to a later time on the same night. Although the flat iron steak entree took longer than expected for four of us...

"This is a treasure of a restaurant in McMinnville. My wife and I stayed 3 nights in McMinnville and we ate two nights in a row when all this says about food. First, the cocktails we had really met after two long days. We had her cocktail called Brooklyn #2. It was so good that I had 2 in the first night and 2 of them in the second night. Maybe I had three on the second night. They were excellent and pretty lazy what we both enjoyed. My wife who loves rye also shared both nights in her enjoyment of Brooklyn #2 that we visited the fine institution, as well. My mouth watered the foie grass and it was lawful. The foie grass was so satisfying. I was thinking of ordering someone else and not ordering a duck, but I thought I should try other food there. My wife had the Pork Rillettes and shared it with me. This is one of two dishes that we ordered 2 nights in a row. It was an unwavering understanding. I'm not a pig fan at all, but the Pork Rillettes had so incredibly deep taste. The mustard and pickles complicated the Pork Rillettes so that I also thought of ordering another simply because the flavors almost leave you immediately addicted. However, I have accused the logic that I should participate in the moderation and rely on it. In addition, we had the Rockfish entrée both evenings that we visited, which taught me a few different types of flavors, which taught me a valid and valuable lesson that fish dishes can taste every bit as good as any ol' solid beef dish, and even better. The Rockfish bowl had pearl couscous, which bursts with taste in the mouth, and the combination of fennel and citrus left my mouth for more salivation. I was amazed and open, shocked, by the incredibe aromas of this Rockfish dish that I did not eat captive dead a few years ago. Thistle taught me a few things during our two visits. # Don't be closed over pork because it could be something you really enjoy. #2 Small cocktails can be as satisfying as the larger cocktails. #3 Your fish dishes can make a lasting impression that you can come back as soon as possible. #4 - the most obvious and most important you can say that the good people at Thistle REALLY enjoy what they do because it is quite obvious in the food they prepare and share with their customers. I would just like to thank them for having so much pleasure in what they do and to translate this joy into so wonderfully flavored and pleasant dishes. We will definitely come back."
