Stopped on our way to Redding. Our food sat on the counter for 10 mins. The staff would look at it and walk by. We assumed it was someone else’s good. Finally someone grabbed it and called our name. Drive-ins, diners and dives ... This falls under dives as they serve beer. You know you 're going to dive when the waitress is carrying a beer across the floor spilling it as she goes without thought or concern. The food was tasty for driving food. There was a dine-in area. We were able to escape the heat. Bathroom was clean. Food took 25 minutes to arrive at the table, so not a quick bite place. Patty melt was on a light rye bread. Fries were hot. Fried Zucchini came with a fresh marinara sauce in a big full basket. Bacon cheeseburger looked attractive; my friend ate it all. Had to hunt down the waitress for the bill. Credit cards accepted. Parking was plentiful.

The food is excellent! I love love love the burgers, tater tots and taco salad! The burgers are cooked to perfection, moist and delicious. The buns are always fresh and the veggies are always good NEVER soggy or questionable. The jukebox adds fun atmosphere inside. This is the last stand up bar in California and it is packed outside all the time. People out there love to drink beer and smoke cigarettes. The great thing is there are several tables and umbrellas so if you are NOT a smoker you can still sit outside but sit far enough away from the outside bar that the smoke will not bother you. The food was genuinely impressive. Often, you might expect small bar eateries to offer late-night munchies, but not this one! The atmosphere is great, and the customer service is top-notch. There’s a cozy outdoor bar area with open-air seating, and indoor seating in a long, narrow space. I particularly liked the bar seats on the left side of the entrance, which conveniently overlook a TV and are right by the bartender. We were fortunate to have the indoor area to ourselves. We each ordered burgers—one came with shoestring fries, while the other was paired with onion rings. The shoestring fries were just your standard fare, but the onion rings were fantastic.
