After just a few bites, I found myself saying "y'all" because the Southern flavors really took over. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.

The staff are friendly, and the food is fantastic! I used to visit this place in the 80s when it was a Shoney's, but I prefer it as Lizard Thicket now. The restrooms are clean as well.

Texas-style chicken fried steak? You can't be serious. I'm a sixth-generation Texan, and this just doesn't cut it. Maybe you should head back to Texas and give it another shot—perhaps even swing by Dallas and take some notes this time. Voir le carte

This review is for the Sunset Blvd. location in Lexington, SC. The takeout service needs to be examined; the older male staff members have negatively impacted the business. Numerous complaints are overlooked by management. It's the same story every time: the cook is talented (but somewhat rude), and the staff members are dismissed when issues are raised. Three visits in three years is more than enough. Each time, there's been a mix-up. It feels like a betrayal instead of a pleasant dining experience.

Lizard Thicket catered for 60 for our private event. They put all off my worries at ease and showed up nearly thirty minutes early with the food kept in regulated containers to stay warm. They did not need to, but they helped me to set up all of my foodand were so very accommodating. I would love to say thank you to our delivery crew. They delivered on 11/24/19 at 5:00! I am soso so thankful to have worked with this company and will do so again for future events. Our residents were blown away at thefood and we are so satified! Thank you thank you thank you!

Lizard Thicket provided catering for our private event with 60 guests, and I couldn’t be more pleased. They arrived nearly thirty minutes early, ensuring the food was kept warm in regulated containers. They went above and beyond by helping me set up the food, which I truly appreciated. A big thank you to the delivery team who brought everything on 11/24/19 at 5:00 PM! I am extremely grateful to have worked with this company and will definitely choose them for future events. This review is for the location in front of Target on Two Notch: For Thanksgiving, I ordered turkey, dressing with giblet gravy, and squash casserole, and I was extremely disappointed! I knew the turkey would be a loaf (which they informed me about when I placed my order over the phone), but it was completely tasteless. The dressing was absolutely awful—I was expecting cornbread dressing (which I thought they used to make), but it turned out to be bland and unappetizing. The squash casserole wasn't even fully cooked. As for the giblet gravy, it actually jelled and was hard to warm up. If I could give zero stars, I would. General Manager, Todd at the Knox Abbot location refused to replace, refund the vegetable soup that I ordered and received. When I got home to serve to my Mom, Barbara Koosa, it had the packaged crackers and receipt inside of the soup. I called and spokewith James the Assistant Manager before I made the trip back which was about ten miles. James was friendly and helpful, althoughdistraught that his trusted employees would do such a thing; which is understandable. Nonetheless, I had the impression thathe would replace the soup without question. I worked in food and beverage for many years, as has my family and that is alwaysthe cardinal rule.
