This place Local Burger is so much better than a 3.5 . This place is the Best! The Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers with Maple Mayo is Fantastic! Best burgers and fries too. Don 't miss this chance for great food.

Came in on a rainy Saturday afternoon to a completely empty dining area. It took just under 20 minutes to get a medium/well cooked cheeseburger and an order of fries. That is a galling wait time. Luckily, their food is delicious. Near perfect fries and their grass-fed beef chargrilled was delicious! The 1950's diner decor is kinda perfect. I will be back.

kinda shocked that the yelp reviews only give this place 3.5 stars bc i had a great experience here. maybe it was bc i was here on a sunday, but the food was DELICIOUS, the cashier who took our order was super sweet and she was so prompt and nice about modifying our orders. i have no complaints and the seating is comfortable, not too crowded, and i was able to have a convo and hear just fine Voir le carte

This place has been my go-to lunch place, so very disappointed in its decline. Restaurants have been raising prices which is somewhat understandable but when accompanied by a reduction in quality that leaves me looking elsewhere. At LB I loved their Captain Crunch hot dog, Buffalo Chicken Wrap, and Buffalo Chicken Tenders...all have both higher prices as well as declining quality. I observe a lot of personnel turnover which may contribute to the reduction in quality.

Fast and the very definition of a greasy burger joint. It is exactly what it says it is with fresh burgers and fries made to order. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that there was too much of everything. Too much bbq sauce and coleslaw on the barnyard. Too much buffalo sauce on the buffalo fries, etc. but that's not a horrible thing. Suggest if you go to ask them to put all the ingredients on the side so the bun doesn't get soggy. But overall, just what you'd expect!

We came to Keene for a week long vacation from Las Vegas, NV. Our first night in town we were starving decided to get burgers from Local Burger. The gentleman behind the counter was super busy delivering food to tables making drinks but acknowledged me twice while I waited patiently to place my order. The wait was worth it, the burgers were absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection, juicy and oh so flavorful! The maple mayo on the farmhouse turkey is my new favorite condiment. Came here based on Yelp reviews. I had the buttermilk chicken sandwich on the recommendation of the server taking our order, my husband had the burger. We also tried the fries. We sat outside which was great, love to people watch; the chicken the sandwich was huge! The batter was the perfect amount, fries and crispy to perfection, the chicken was moist. The roll was soft and tasty I should have noted what it was, because it wasn 't your run of the mill roll. It had lettuce , tomato and pickle and the onion, dill, dressing on it was yummy! Very disappointed. This has been a staple in Keene for years, unfortunately it doesn't seem like it's been kept up during that time. The food was ok, but pricey $50 for 2 kids and 1 adult to each get a burger or chicken nuggets, share a small fries, and get a fountain drink or milkshake) the atmosphere is just...lacking. I was visiting Keene, NH for the first time with a friend who grew up in the area, and when it came time to pause our adventures through the town for lunch, my friend 's top recommendation for a quick and super filling lunch was the Local Burger! In addition to food, I was also seeking an authentic local experience, and with a name like Local Burger how could I go wrong? It was a wonderfully sunny day outside, and the dining area was bright, colorful and vibrant. Many of the tables had fun diner/bar stool seating that was reminiscent of burger joints of the past with the enjoyable amenity of being able to spin a little in your seat while chatting over the meal.
