Local Cantina - Carte

This place is very inviting. Went there to celebrate a birthday. I am not a fan of Mexican food, but this place has great food and a fun atmosphere. The decor is very colorful. I'll go back when the patio opens up!

Had 2 different tacos, chips and soda. Everything was great, excellent flavor. Only star off was cilantro in everything. I’m one of the “cilantro tastes like soap” people, and it didn’t list it on the items I ordered. Not their fault, I just know for next time, which I hope there will be!

Tonya and I visited this restaurant, and we were greeted by these two incredible staff members! They are among the friendliest, quickest, and most fun-loving people we've ever met. First time at this location. I had the Barbacoa Burrito Verde. I was disappointed. The Barbacoa was dry and surprisingly did not have much flavor. I thought it was me. The wife tasted it and immediately said that too. It was definitely not smothered in the Verse sauce as it was described but that is my opinion. The sauce was there but not much. The wife had the Chicken Fajita. It was good

The food and service was decent but whoever controls the music turns it up so loud that you are unable to communicate with others at your table. We mentioned this to the server but nothing was done. I've been there 4 times...once sitting outside. The loud music was an issue two of the times we were there. Don't get me wrong. I love music, but it's a restaurant and if you can't speak to someone at your table, what's the point? Thanks!

My wife and I have been visiting this restaurant for years, and we truly adore it! The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the staff is wonderful. One of the bartenders, Tyler, crafts an excellent old fashioned and has a laid-back vibe. He, along with a few other team members, always remembers our names, which shows great professionalism and is really nice. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a great time with some amazing Mexican cuisine! Voir le carte

First time going and last. We spent 118 dollars on queso, 5 tacos, and 3 steak fajitas. Not one person in our group liked the food, bland and the steak was very stringy and fatty. Only place I’ve ever been were you serve yourself if you want chips and salsa. The station it was at looked very unclean. Staff all seemed like they were miserable to be there. Music was way too loud for the 15 folks that were in there. The number one issue is the food quality and cleanliness of this facility.

What a fun VIBE! And you can have your pooch on the patio. Server was attentive, good at recommendations....especially the pitcher of froZen concoction ? Good tunes coming from just inside the dining/bar area. I love how the patio sits just above the street and not right at street level, just makes for a better view. Free and easy accessible parking. Excellent location at the corner of Columbus St. and Broadway.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options. There are chips and dips and you can request any taco with out meat.Kid-friendliness: Newborn babies all the way to teenagers.Parking: Huge (FREE) public parking lot behind Local Cantina. Also free street parking.

BEWARE! The queso and guacamole are $8.00 EACH for the TINIEST bowls.I’ve never written a food review in my life, but I feel as if it’s my personal obligation to tell the people about this deceiving price. When we sat down, the waiter asked us if we’d like queso and guac before we even saw the menu, we thought there’s no way it could be more than a few bucks, right? We thought we’d get a cheap dinner because of the $2.20 Taco Tuesday deal, but boy were we wrong. Half the bill was for these one inch in diameter queso and guac bowls that were actually the most mid queso and guac that I’ve ever had in my life.
