"Hands down the best sandwich shop in the SGV! The selection of products in their market where amazing! We tried two of their sandwiches which were a recommendation from one of the gentleman behind the counter and he was spot on, 1 was the grandpa one and the other was named Keif? I wish I would have remembered, but we ate then so fast on our way out we grabbed a few meatballs from their hot food section and they are now our favorite place to eat! Condiments gallor with specialty items from Italy. So excited we stopped by to know this gem of a location."

"We ordered the chicken pesto, turkey cranberry sandwiches, and fried chicken. The sandwiches were fresh and bursting with flavor, while the chicken was crispy and delicious. The cheese croissant with strawberries was simply amazing—perfectly balanced with saltiness, sweetness, crunch, and chewiness. I can't recommend it enough! The only downside was the fresh-squeezed lemonade, which was quite pricey and tasted more like a mix than freshly made. It wasn’t bad, just not what I expected. Overall, I look forward to returning to try more of the menu. The service was prompt and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated."

"Hate to write this review but our service was one of the worst I 've ever gotten. Our reservation is at 7pm and didn 't get seated until 7:20pm. We had an older lady who gave us a menu and didn 't come back until 7:50pm. Noted we didn 't get any water or bread while waiting. Finally we put in an order and appetizers did not arrive until 8:15 (30 mins+ . Then entree did not arrive until 9pm. It 's been two hours at this point! We quickly ate and just wanted to get out of there as desserts would prob been another 30 mins. Worst of all, the older lady who I felt bad for, was condescending and rude. She would talk to all other tables and did not check in nor acknowledge us throughout the meal. Someone else came to refill our water, gave us more bread. I had to ask the other person that I wanted dessert to go since she was too busy chatting with another table for at least 10 mins. When she finally came to us she got upset and said you shouldn 't have told them you want dessert to go well okay I wouldn 't if you were non existent for the past two hours and I needed SOME service. Customer service was the worst, and you think the food would make up for it. However this is worst than Outback Steakhouse, the steak was dry and covered in a cream sauce. For this price I rather go to a more reputable steakhouse, they cannot say they are a long institution and think it 's an excuse for bad food and service. We 've been to Musso and Franks and Lawrys multiple times and both have been around for a long time, but at least their service and food match their reputable name. Save yourself the headache."

"I began my meal with an iced green tea and a seaweed salad that featured wonderful flavor and a hearty serving. For appetizers, I opted for the soft shell crab—my personal favorite—served with a spicy tempura dipping sauce. I also sampled the Korean BBQ, which was remarkably tender and flavorful. The garlic albacore was decent, though it had a tanginess that was a bit stronger than I expected. When it came to rolls, the Baked Alaskan roll was a delightful choice, while the cut salmon skin roll was also very tasty and expertly prepared. My all-time favorite roll here is the blue crab hand roll. For sashimi, I highly recommend the seared Cajun salmon, which I consider my top choice, along with the Cajun tuna, which was good but didn’t quite measure up to the salmon. The uni was outstanding—fresh and of exceptional quality. The staff was polite and friendly, which enhanced the overall wonderful experience. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant; it truly is my favorite ever!"

"i know i'm hitting my stride here now, having found this restaurant. most anyone this side of preschool can find a good, not to say great, tacqueria when it's needed. but i've reached the end of the line with mexican food for awhile. what i was desperately in need of was fresh salad, specifically a greek village salad. this isn't as easy to come by as it might seem out here in suburbia east of pasadena. in fact where i'm from it's impossible to come up with a real greek salad without crossing a fairly large bridge. plenty of italian, not the best either, but no greeks will have us. (PLEASE somebody who knows how move up north, we need you). i happened to mention this to a youngish woman in a grocery store and sure enough this place came with her highest recommendation. fortunately she seemed to me to be someone likely to know. so the salad was simply made as it should be, and generously sized almost for a complete dinner. to supplement we had stuffed cabbage rolls which were really well flavored, and came with veggies cooked just so. as we were leaving the waitperson (is that really necessarily the best way to describe her? no) recommended a great italian place nearby. my next outing will be there. just like doctors, you only need to find one good one to find the rest you might need. it's not corfu here of course, but I'll be back soon."
