"Picked up seven breakfast tacos on Friday, May 27th. Should have been easy in and out order, but young man at counter made it more difficult than it should have been. There was no sense of urgency. He was confused, delayed and made little effort to multitask. I attempted to cancel order at one point but he didn't care. Fortunately two kitchen team members walked upfront and made efforts to make things right. They greeted us and distributed orders. Again, fairly straight order, but not worth the hassle."

Great service and food. The el pastor taco box is awesome for our family dinner. Tried all the tacos all good.

Got the classic and 1810 taco and couldn't finish either. The place was busy so obviously people think they taste good but I cannot eat beef that tastes like gristle. The green sauce was great tasting the only reason it gets 2 .

We had a fantastic lunch today with delicious street-style tacos! The place was busy, but we were still able to find a table. I tried the bark fajita taco called "The Pirates," and it was amazing! I really wish I had ordered more. I can't wait to come back!

Perhaps the most underrated taco shop in Houston! The enchiladas suizas are delectable and you can’t go wrong with a classic chicken taco. The chliango taco is also a solid go to if you like pork. I always find a way to stop in for a visit when I’m in the memorial drive area. Tacos4Life Voir le carte

We ordered the meat taco platter, a bowl, and the tortilla soup. Unfortunately, the tortilla soup was quite disappointing, especially given that it cost nearly $13. The tacos were decent, but the bowl was just average. Overall, we ended up spending just over $40 for two people, which felt excessive considering the subpar experience. The ambiance is lovely, but I’m puzzled how the restaurant maintains such a high rating with food quality like this at such high prices.

During my first visit to the restaurant, I found it to be small and clean. I had tried their tacos for the first time at an event where they had their food trucks, and I enjoyed them. On a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was not very crowded, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. I was greeted promptly upon my arrival, and it didn't take long for my tacos to be ready. Oh, they were delicious! While they are a bit pricier than other tacos I've had, my favorite is definitely the pirata.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
