"we weren't back in a past, but we were so glad we did. crates led us through the lunch menu and we landed on the burrata and fried artichoke to start. is delicious an understatement. our cocktails were also delicious. blut orange martini and barrel aged old granddad manhattan. we had a few before we proceed with the bacon cheese burger and hanger steak wedge. both were satisfied and filled, but we had space for the molten buttercake. it was amazing! Tom helped us to finish our lunch with a cappuccino and a black martini, we recommend it very much. crates and tom were very well informed about the menu and made the afternoon special!"

"Today was my first time eating at Thacher Rye and I’m ecstatic to say it was not be my last. I stumbled upon the restaurant after a quick Google search that screamed “EAT HERE” There are many places suggested for best brunch in Frederick and I’ve tried many of them; Jojo’s, Nola, Up on Market St and Hootch and Banter (to name a few and nothing, I mean nothing, compares to the service and quality of food as Thacher Rye. Immediately upon entering I was concerned that I was under dressed since I had just came up to get a beard trim and was dressed in athletic wear. The extremely handsome and very friendly Jordan, who greeted me with the kindest smile ever, assured me that I was ok. He gave me a quick tour of the dining room (which is so beautiful, like the entire building and we decided to sit at the bar with the incredibly charismatic and stunning Hannah! Hannah was multitasking like crazy all while making incredible eye contact and killing the customer service game. Chick Fil A should send their employees to Hannah for training! I had kind of made my mind up with what I was going to eat and after hearing Hannah’s suggestions, I stuck with what I wanted. Which was a mistake. Always listen to the employees!!! Now don’t get me wrong, my food was incredible, but now I can’t stop dreaming of Shakshuka. I did decide to add the Grits which are the best I’ve had anywhere outside of Atlanta. What a treat to discover this restaurant today. Now I just need a nap Thanks to everyone who made my first time eating here so incredible!!"

"Our server, Kat, was amazing! She was attentive and friendly, and handled the busy floor with ease. The calamari here was the best I've ever had - Kat mentioned they batter it themselves, which really makes a difference. I loved it so much I even ordered a second plate! The homemade bread that came with the beef stew was delicious, and my sister really enjoyed the crab dip. The cheese cake with caramel drizzle, whipped cream, and strawberries was the perfect way to end the meal. The strawberries tasted incredibly fresh."

"Dans l'ensemble, nous avons vraiment aimé. La nourriture était très bonne, les portions étaient grandes. Particulièrement aimé les apéritifs d'asperges frites et de choux de Bruxelles. La paella au steak et au poulet est également très bonne. Le service est très lent au début, peut-être à cause du restaurant très fréquenté le samedi soir de la semaine du restaurant. Ça s'est un peu amélioré grâce au repas. Expérience globale très bonne. Nous y retournerons quand nous serons de retour à Frederick"

"The food has always been amazing and the staffs are always above and beyond! We ordered the must try YinYang shrimp for appetizer, Tonkotsu beef ramen, eel avocado rolls and Dragon rolls for dinner today the food was chef's kiss (meaning 10 out of 10! as always???? The staffs take covid19 safety measurements seriously so we feel really safe whenever we dine in here during the pandemic. We have been regular customers and will definitely come back for more delicious food"
