Lumberjack Cafe is a family owned cafe in Big Bear. It is a true gem where you can get homemade food away from home. Everything is fresh and tasty. The owners are friendly and service is amazing. After visiting Big Bear for years, my wife and I had never tried any cafés while we were there. I'm so glad that changed! This café is by far the best breakfast spot I've found—only a 2-minute walk from our B&B—and they serve the most delicious waffles I've ever had. The staff was incredibly friendly too! This will definitely be my go-to place during Oktoberfest, snowboarding season, and anytime we visit. It's a must-try when you're in Big Bear. Food: 5 stars.

This will be our go to when we visit Big bear! The food was DELICIOUS, I was expecting ihop/dennys quality food and I was pleasantly surprised that the food was of much better standard at a much lower price. I will be thinking of these waffles for the rest of my life. Not only was the food amazing , the customer service surpassed all expectations. My coffee cup was constantly being filled as well as my water cup. The ladies were sooooo incredibly sweet and welcoming.
