Mamma Toledo’s The Pie Hole

I have purchased five pies from here over the past nine months for various occasions, and each one has been exceptional. While the price might seem a bit steep, the use of high-quality ingredients and generous portion sizes justifies it. These pies are definitely superior to generic store-bought options. My favorite is the banana cream!

My husband is a stickler with his lemon meringue pie. He is only a fan of his moms lemon meringue pie recipe so when I went to mama Toledo and saw all the great reviews I knew it would be great! I got a few of the mini pies to include the lemon meringue pie and my husband said it was amazing and tasted exactly like his mom made! Thank you for making his Father’s Day one to remember! We will definitely be back!

Pretty decent, large selection of pies. Be warned you have to place an order for many of the items I think she said a day or week ahead of time. The pies tasted fresh and staff was very friendly. Not really a place to sit down and enjoy the pies would be my only complaint but that's no reason not to grab a pie and eat it in the car like I did haha. We decided to order one of each quiche to take home, which was a huge letdown. The quiche was dry, lacking flavor, and had an excessive amount of crust for a quiche. The dessert pies on the menu sounded appealing, but overall, this is not a place I would recommend for breakfast! P.S. To Mamma: You weren’t there, so please note that we were NOT offered fresh quiche as an option. We had assumed we were getting it fresh.

Oh my PIE! We have been connoisseurs of Mamma Toledo's since we moved to Phoenix. We are folks who order pie for every celebration and Mamma Toledo's delivered on our wedding day. We have both been to plenty of weddings where the cake served is hardly touched, but at our wedding out of the 15 pies we ordered for our wedding we only took home 2 ½. Of all the events of our wedding the one I have heard about the most besides the parasailor crashing our wedding in the sky was Mamma Toledo's pie.

I love their pies. The only one time I was disappointed was when visiting the Food Truck Event by Sam's Club, we visited Mama Toledo's Food Truck to order a pie. I asked for the Raspberry Cheese Cake and ended up with the Cookie and Cream. I did not realize it until we got home because the lady put it in a bag and after paying for it we did not open bag until we got home. By then it was too late to go back, the event was over. I have been meaning to try this place since seeing it on the news a few months ago. Only a few whole pies on hand for sale. So if you're looking for a particular pie you have to call in advance. I ordered 2 small pies I believe 7.50 apiece and a green Chile biscuit. Everything is made from scratch also. The place is not really set up for indoor dining, just a small counter at the entrance. My green Chile biscuit was ok I thought lacking a little flavor or spice. I will be back again to try something different

This place is incredible! I was looking for a cherry cheesecake for Mother’s Day, called several bakeries and nobody would do it for me. During my search I stumbled upon this bakery and was immediately drawn to them by their slogan “We’ll shut your pie hole” hahaha! Long story short, even though it’s not in their menu they were willing to make it for me and it tasted absolutely delicious. The cheesecake was perfect and the wife couldn’t be happier. Before this experience, I had never been to or had ever heard of this place but now it’ll be my go to for personal or work events. My husband, who loves key lime, finished that pie completely, and I must admit it had a good flavor, even though I'm not personally a fan of key lime. My niece tried the mixed berry pie, and it was decent—not overly sweet and definitely better than the PB chocolate. Would we return? Honestly, probably not. I'd be more inclined to drive the 45 minutes to Rock Springs Pies instead, but this place isn’t terrible, so you might want to try it yourself. Overall, it was just okay. On top of that, the girl who checked us out wasn't friendly at all—no greeting or acknowledgment whatsoever. And to make matters worse, a guy came in a few minutes after us with two dogs.
