Mandro Teahouse - Carte

It seems to be a popular spot, and the dessert is wonderful. However, the floors are quite dirty, and the tables and chairs could use better cleaning due to heavy foot traffic. I hope the manager or owner can improve the cleanliness, as it would really enhance the overall experience.

I’m really fond of the mango bingsoo! While it is a bit pricey, it’s the only one like it in town, so I think it's worth it! I also sampled the Mango Sago, which was delightful. The customer service leaves a bit to be desired—it could be friendlier—but I usually just place my order ahead of time and pick it up.

I absolutely love the bingsu here! It's quite challenging to find good bingsu in many places around the Bay Area. I appreciate that they really load it up with strawberries and strawberry sauce, and they even provide a whole container of sweetened condensed milk! Plus, it’s layered, so when you finish the top, there's still more strawberry goodness waiting for you! I will definitely be returning! Voir le carte

Bingsoo is always my go to with friends when I come to mandro and today is no different. I ordered a small mango bingsoo for me and one other friend and surprisingly, we finished it. The mangos were very sweet but did notice that they sliced the mangos a lot thinner than before so there were less mangos. The ice was fluffy and had no flavor whatsoever but paired with the mango and condensed milk, it was heavenly.

I was honestly surprised by how good it was. Despite the restaurant being packed with students and families celebrating graduations, the service was incredibly fast. The prices were also lower than most other places in Davis. While the atmosphere is somewhat lacking, it is more spacious than many other spots in town. And of course, their drinks were fantastic—I finished mine all in one sitting! The boba had the perfect texture. Overall, it was a great experience!

Mandro has really good desserts (mango bingsoo, taro ball #3 are my faves). Their specialty drinks (mango sago, Hawaii fruit tea) are also really good. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have savory snacks like popcorn chicken. I also think it's important for any boba shop to have really good basic black milk tea jasmine milk tea, their basic milk teas aren't that good. If you're looking to get basic milk tea, other shops in davis are better. Mandros is pretty much only good if you get their specialty drinks desserts. Voir le carte

This restaurant is a must-visit in Davis. They offer a great selection of drinks and consistently deliver a satisfying experience. We ordered two regular-sized bingsoo for a group of seven, but in hindsight, two larger sizes would have been more suitable. The atmosphere here is fantastic, with plenty of people chatting and board games available. The tables could use a bit more attention, as they tend to be a little dirty, but aside from that, I have no complaints. Overall, I believe this is the best boba and dessert spot in Davis.

The best and the worst! This is truly the best bingsoo I’ve ever had, but I kind of wish it weren't. I’ve encountered several oddly tense interactions with the staff. For example, when I asked, “Can I have boba on my bingsoo?” the answer was a firm no. When I inquired, “Can I order just boba?” I got another no, accompanied by an uncomfortable atmosphere that made me feel like I had just kicked a kitten. Typically, tea shops offer a wide range of customization options, which makes me worry about what I might have done to provoke such reactions. This is just one example, but I’ve experienced this several times at this place. It’s unsettling because I usually have positive customer experiences....

I had this place bookmarked. And I was passing through Davis so I thought I would stop by. They also have a couple locations in the bay area, way closer to me. First off, they don't have a large sign above their shop nor are they listed on the sign for the shopping plaza they're located on. So I questioned if I was at the right place. And I circled around the parking lot looking for it before I just parked and searched for it. Not even a sign with their name on the window or door. Seems like they could put some kind of sign.
