We love going here with our family! The wait staff (including the bartenders) are awesome!

Food was excellent, service was very quick. Came from an event at UCONN and it was well worth the trip.

My wife got a great salad not expected in a burger joint. The burger was wonderful, flame seared with a pink warm middle. Our server was pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere what a pub should be. Voir le carte

Love everything there. I get the turkey burger sans the roll with a small Max salad. My hubby usually gets whatever the burger special of the day. We have never had a bad meal there. Service is awesome too.

The service was friendly and very capable. The food was not better than any other pub in which I have eaten. The burger was not seasoned, though it was cooked perfectly. It was not bad, but not anything that I would rave about.

I decided to have lunch at Max Burger. It wasn't too crowded and our waiter was very friendly, even though he was still in training. Thank you, Sosh, for being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Max Burger is always on top of their game! Helpful and friendly waitstaff, a solid menu with options for all tastes, including vegetarian and vegan options, and a cocktail list that keeps things interesting! This is a West Hartford must have in the burger space. If you can only try one, try this one!

Max Burger is a popular restaurant in West Hartford center that never disappoints. The loaded tots are a must-try appetizer and I highly recommend them. I tried the spicy mother clucker for the first time on my last visit and it was excellent. Their burgers are always delicious and the freshly prepared onion rings and amazing truffle fries with garlic aioli are a must-have. I highly recommend this restaurant.

3rd visit. I'm just completely underwhelmed by this place. This time I got the Ahi tuna burger. It was a formed patty with chunks of tuna and it was just not that well executed. The flavors were okay but the burger was awkward. There was no sear on it, it was almost like it was microwaved. The temperatures on 2 of the 3 burgers were wrong. If you aren't going to cook them to the correct temperature why ask the customer what temp they want. The prices are outrageous for the quality of food. Our server was no where to be found for long stretches of time. And anytime I have to ask for water makes me feel like there is no point to having a server.
