Always enjoy stopping by Maynards. Went at 3:30 so we would be able to get a table and find a parking spot. Enjoyed the chicken sandwich. Only negative was a couple next to us spent an hour talking to a couple next to them in the bar. They were so loud we could hardly carry on a conversation. But that's not Maynard's fault. I visited on a Tuesday in August and found the restaurant to be crowded both inside and outside. However, the biggest challenge was the parking situation. I spent 20 minutes driving around the lot and nearby streets before finally securing a spot. As a result, we arrived late for our 6:15 reservation. While the food and service were excellent, the hassle of parking made the experience less enjoyable overall.

Limited menu outside, keep your expectations very low. The food is more like bar food out there. You go for the atmosphere to sit outside by the lake. Tables outside are first come first serve we waited about 5 10 min keeping an eye out for tables to open up. Our server was exceptional and took great care of us. Once we were seated we felt “stalked” by the other patrons constantly cruising and watching us to see when we might be done eating. Still worth it especially if you don’t get much lake time in this summer, it’s worth the drive.

Came in for a snack. Ordered some waffle fries and dry rub wings. When we got the order I couldn 't really see much seasoning. I asked if there was any when he dropped them off. He said, yes it has garlic and pepper. We both ate some and couldn 't really taste much seasoning. Waiter never came back to even ask how it was. For $17 I would expect more then just fried wings. Bad service on top of it ruined the experience. Waffle fries were good though. .... Update. Maynards reached out and made up for it w a gift card. Which we appreciate. Came back and had a much better server 'Taylor '. She was very nice and attemtive. Wings were much better this time around, too. Increased to 3 stars. Voir le carte
