"Dal Rae is an Institution and has been around since 1951. This place is totally old school, and in the best way possible. It reminds me of old, classy Hollywood with the overstuffed booths, dim lighting, piano bar and ambience. There is tableside preparation for their signature Caesar Salad and the flambe desserts, that you rarely see anymore, such as Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubiless. Romantic restaurants are no longer plentiful, and this is perfect for a first date, anniversary, birthdays, or just good food. It isn't light on the wallet, but the food is quality. We had the Oysters Rockefeller, which were the best I ever had. We also had the Crab stuffed Artichoke Bottoms you can have Crab Stuffed Mushrooms or Artichoke Bottoms, but Mushrooms you can find on other menus. Never saw the Artichoke version. .The Crab Stuffed Artichoke Bottoms melt in your mouth and were unbelievably good. We shared the prepared at your tableside Caesar Salad there is enough for 4 and again, never had a better Caesar Salad, made with their own homemade dressing, prepared right in front of you. For entrees the melt in your mouth Chilean Sea Bass was beyound comparison and the Prime Rib was as good as any place I have ever had. I was celebrating my birthday, and did not have room for dessert, but the table ordered Bananas Foster, just for the experience, and it did not disappoint. This restaurant provides an experience vs. a dinner out. Additionally, the menu is very large, and I can imagine everything is excellent. This would be my number one recommendation of any restaurants in L.A. County that I have frequented, and there have been many. This just stands alone based on the variety of menu, quality and tasted of food, the tableside experience and ambience. Too top it all off, the service was very attentive."

"She insisted that she and her husband were in the back and that she knows exactly what goes out to customers, claiming she didn’t send anything like what I received. Clearly, she did! It’s disappointing because I’ve been a loyal customer since her parents ran the place. Christine would do well to learn from them. It’s never too late to improve! I can no longer recommend this restaurant. She clearly doesn’t understand how to run a business. On top of everything, the noodles were overcooked. Her parents would never have allowed food like this to be served! I paid $13.50 for this meal! The customer service was horrible, and there was a lack of management oversight. I sent the requested photos to their email, so let’s see if I at least receive an apology—although I doubt it since she was insistent about not sending anything out like that! This was a straightforward order of chow mein with shrimp, nothing unusual. It’s disappointing to see a business undermine a loyal customer over their own mistakes. The pictures clearly show the issue!"

"I am so glad we have this place a try! The kids and I Ioved it! The cheese burger was really good. The fries are nice and crispy, if you like your fries a little more well. They also let you choose a dipping sauce for them which was a nice touch. We also tried the crispy chicken sandwich and it was nicely cooked and juicy. I was pretty impressed. The lettuce and tomatoes were also very fresh. They don't serve traditional sodas which was a fun experience for the kids. We will definitely be back!"

"The Super Burrito Vegetariano and Torta Vegetariano were both delightful. Our only concerns were that the guacamole was clumped at one end instead of being evenly spread, the Torta bread was not quite as well-toasted as it had been during our previous visit, and we noticed that the two orders of beans were missing. However, the delivery was quick, and the frequent updates on the status of our order kept us well-informed about the expected arrival time."

"Best Italian Sandwiches in town hands down. I love that they make their bread fresh daily. I?ve been coming here since I was a little girl. I?m now in my mid 30?s. I support mom and pop shops and I admire their authentic Italian products. From pickle in abarrel offerings, Italian sodas, to cookies, wine, and more. Their deli is convenient for a quick pick up of family visiting.Great to bring for a day of watching sports. I recommend calling ahead your order for smooth pick up. They can get busy whichonly means their in high demand not short staffed. They all are amazing workers and family. It?s been great to see many familymembers throughout the years. Check out the Submarine sandwich New York Specials are my go to! I love the macaroni salad andmarinated artichoke hearts!"
