"Nous voulions vraiment aimer cet endroit. Lorsque vous entrez, c'est un bel espace. Le restaurant est assez grand. Nous étions assis dans une région confortable et nous avions beaucoup d'espace autour de nous très sûrs de Covid. Nous avons commandé les puces Guac de commencer. Le guacamole était bon mais garni de gros morceaux d'oignon crus. Les chips étaient savoureux mais très minces et ont éclaté en deux lorsque vous avez essayé de plonger dans le guacamole. Nous avons commandé la gimlet Pixie Smash et Orange sanguine. Pixie Smash était très fort lourd sur le bourbon. Le gimlet de sang orange était très savoureux. Nous avons tous deux commandé la côte courte Colorado comme principale. Une grande partie de la viande sur une assiette d'oignon. Les oignons étaient une touche bizarre n'étaient pas vraiment assaisonnées ou bien cuits. La viande était bonne mais ressentie au hasard sur la pile d'oignons. Le côté des asperges était trop salé. Le riz de Cilantro était savoureux. Dans l'ensemble, le repas était très juste d'accord. Je me suis senti faux de payer autant pour un repas très médiocre. Ne pouvait plus dîner ici pour le dîner"

"I was raised in Ojai and I now live in Ventura. I go back up to Ojai as much as I can , we attended Art In The Park on Sunday . I was starving and needed food Ojai pizza is perfectly located right in the center of town and the food is unbelievably delicious. My husband and I split an Italian sub and let me tell you , it was definitely enough for two of us and filled us up !!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE OUR PIZZA HOUSE !!!! TRY IT OUT! TRUST ME YOU'LL BE A REGULAR AFTER THAT!!!!"

"We discovered this amazing healthy restaurant today! It is clean and spacious with air conditioning inside. This is a self-service restaurant where you can choose your food and drinks at the counter, pay, and find a table. Although there are several tables inside, we chose to sit outside on the terrace. My husband, who is not a fan of vegetables, enjoyed his baguette and Gunpowder fries with homemade curry ketchup and delicious mustard. He found his baguette to be flavorful and the fries to be spicy and delicious. He even said he would come back to Hip Vegan! I ordered the Wagamama Bowl, which was heavenly. I loved all the Asian flavors in the bowl and the portion size was generous. I couldn't finish it all, so I took the rest home for dinner. I highly recommend the Wagamama bowl! I also tried a seasonal fruit soup - the watermelon juice mixed with soda. My husband had a beer from Hahn. After we finished our meal, we cleared our plates and disposed of our trash. Inside, there is a station where you can get your own metal utensils, glassware for water, and paper napkins. Overall, Hip Vegan is a delightful restaurant with delicious food and drinks."

"Quick Summary Cool ambiance with the patio seating, especially in the back when you have the backdrop of the Ojai sunset. Food was decent (the highlights were the olive oil and the lamb carpaccio). Plenty of street parking available Food- 4 stars Food was decent but isn't worth going out of your way for Bread with olive oil- the olive oil was very solid and hearty. Really enjoyed it Lamb carpaccio- this was pretty good as well. The only downside is that it wasn't evenly salted (some portions were much more salted than others) Lamb shank- this was good, but the sauce was slightly too sweet. Pork chop- a bit disappointed by the pork chop. Overcooked and way too lean. Not the most enjoyable experience Service- 4 stars Pretty standard, although we did wait a pretty long time between our appetizers and entrees Parking- plenty of street parking Bottom Line Cool ambiance if you're around the Ojai area. Really wished I tried the pasta or ravioli dishes, because was disappointed by the entrees."
