"I stopped by tonight as a first visit!Not expecting much but it surpassed my expectations by a lot!The restaurant itself is very classy and upscale.The interior has great interest as you peruse around the restaurant.The bathrooms are interesting and prestine as well.It has a nice bar plus a great setting area.I imagine it gets packed on the weekends.Consider reservations during peak times.The entire menu looks amazing.I stuck to the sushi side tonight and I was very impressed.I look forward to trying the entire menu.Service was good, not great but the food came fast after ordering and was well presented.I feel confident that this establishment is well ran and can make most people with great taste happy.If you like quality and are willing to splurge it is worth the visit!The Sake options are 2nd to no place I have ever found!I am excited to go back to explore the entire selection of food and drinks offered here!Enjoy your visit!Tell them Steve highly recommended them!"

"Soricha is a hidden gem in Annandale with a calming ambiance. From the moment you step inside, you almost feel like you 're stepping into a cafe in Asia says my Japanese friend. The cafe 's lighting is warm and the seats are comfortable. It 's a great space to catch up with friends or catch up on personal work if you come alone. The menu is QR code style, and the staff brings you your food drinks. First off, let 's have a coffee chat about the bingsoo it 's GINORMOUS. Ever had a huge bowl of ramen at a Japanese restaurant? Yes. Your bingsoo will be THAT big. Come in a group of at least 3 5 people or else it 'll be too much for a couple to eat (unless if you and your partner are major sweettooths . The portions are generous, and each bite is a heavenly combination of fluffy Korean shaved ice and delicious toppings. We 've tried the black sesame and the injeolmi both are super nutty, not too sweet (best compliment from an Asian , and topped well with complimentary toppings cornflakes, almonds, and a scoop of red bean. You can add extra toppings if you 'd like for an extra charge. Beyond bingsoo, Soricha offers an impressive variety of teas, drinks, and desserts there 's something for everyone, ranging from typical Asian flavors (matcha, black milk tea to experimental (dandelion root, mugwort . Note that you may have to call in advance for a group larger than 5, as the space only offers two large tables. Whether you 're a tea aficionado, a bingsoo lover, or simply looking for a cozy spot to unwind by yourself or with friends, visiting Soricha is a must if you 're in the DMV. I highly recommended! Expect to spend about $10 $40, as drinks and food are on the higher end here."

"Magnificent dinner and fantastic service at this restaurant! We came here during restaurant week to explore, and were not disappointed! The entre selection was robust and the portions were very generous. Appetizers were big enough to be shared. Great wine and beer selections as well. Special kudos to our server Edlow M., who kept our dinner on pace without bunching up the courses and interjecting the service with his sharp sense of humor. We really enjoyed ourselves, and will certainly be back again!"

"It’s a small restaurant, quaint in an old shopping center... the waiter/server (from Africa speaks French) is pleasant however he doesn't say much at all...even when asked about the dishes. We chose the 3-course meals. I ordered the fried calamari, Beef Bourguignon Pappardelle, and tiramisu. The other orders were Cesear salad, Lamb Shank, and chocolate mouse cake. All the dishes we had were delicious and nicely presented served on the plate. We will definitely circle back to try other dishes."

"Pretty decent spot. I've been to this location multiple times and they haven't disappointed me. They have a good selection of alcoholic beverages, I recommend trying their ciders. I ordered the steak frites and it was delish. My only small concern was that my steak was not cooked to my liking, it was a little overcooked. Service was prompt and they have plenty of screens to watch sports games."
