"I have been dining at Mellow Mushroom for 19 years. The quality of the food and service really depends on who is working that evening. The flavors of the pizza are fantastic, but it’s all about whether the person preparing it takes the time to care. During my last visit, I ordered a pizza topped with jerk chicken. Instead of being chopped up and evenly spread across the pie, there was just a large chunk of chicken on each slice. Additionally, the way the pizza was sliced was inconsistent, with some pieces being a quarter of the pizza while others were just tiny slivers. Great pizza place with a fun vibe. Spring water dough and any toppings you can imagine. A little pricey, but plenty of options, including a personal size, so everybody can get what they want.

It was just okay. Fairly basic pizza with a high price tag. Adding a single topping to a large pizza was over $4.. $4 for onions? Bell peppers? We were with friends so I forgot to grab a food shot!

The pizza here is consistently delicious, but it's disappointing how poor the service is. I ended up waiting an extra hour for my food, which is frustrating. It's a shame to have such great pizza paired with such inadequate service.

One star rating is strictly for the food, my friend and i got very sick after eating here. I ordered a pepperoni calzone. When it arrived, i cut into it and dough was not cooked all the way thru. Waitress took it back to be remade. Second one came out same way. I have ordered calzones at hundreds of places over the years and they never are doughy. They fixed this by taking it off my bill.
