"Beautiful building and colorful decor in a Mexican place of mind. While the Taco Bell across the street was jammed with cars waiting to place their drive-through orders, Mesquite was languishing for sales with only two or so tables of many beingused. Decor was colorful, restrooms were very clean and decorated with colorful tiles applied to the walls matched with ceramicsinks and counters in the epic bright colors of Mexico. The waiter, a nursing student at WNC, was very attentive. The food was... OK. We had the burrito, enchilada with rice and beans. I couldn't tell the burritos from the enchiladas. Both wereserved wet. I'm pretty sure the plates would not pass muster in Mexico."

The food was plentiful and delicious. The server was friendly, but I had to request more salsa and tea, which could have been better managed. Overall, a solid experience!

Great Mexican food, at the time, (before 12), they were understaffed, but that didn't present an issue. Beautiful tables and chairs. Very clean and an enjoyable environment.

The food is pretty good, sometimes a little under seasoned, but hell, there's salt on the table so who cares. The wait staff is always friendly and the place is clean. And food comes out lightning fast. Voir le carte

Updated Review: Tried a second time for breakfast and had a really good meal. Their breakfast options are way better than anticipated. I had an amazing omelette with steak chorizo and shrimp in it. We also had biscuits and gravy which were awesome too! We will definitely go back to try some other options

I came here for a Taco Tuesday, which is a very busy time for this location because they offer $1.50 tacos. I got three chicken tacos with lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. The tacos were good, but the chicken was a little bland. I also ordered two steakquesadillas to go, and the portion size did not really justify the $14 price. I would probably come back again, but this wouldnot be my first choice for Mexican food.
