"I feel torn on what to review Spicy Thai.. I had been years ago and remembered it being good. I came with some friends on a Friday evening. The restaurant was packed! We waited about 10 minutes before a table was ready no big deal. Our waiter took awhile to come and ask us what we wanted to drink. We browsed the menu and knew quickly what we all wanted to order. It took around 15 minutes for our waiter to come back after giving us our drinks and order our food. My husband and I ordered the egg rolls, pad Thai, and massman curry. The appetizer took around 20 minutes to come out, followed by the food about 20 more minutes. I know that it was a Friday night but the restaurant isn't that big. I don't know why it took so long to get our drinks and food. Our waiter brought the food and brought us the wrong curry. We had to ask for our massman curry. It was shortly brought out with no apology. The eggs rolls were tasty. They were very hot and full of filling. The chili sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and heat. The pad Thai was very good. It was a very generous portion and full of chicken which was a great surprise. The peanuts added a good texture. I was very impressed with this. The massman curry was only okay. It wasn't that flavorful and tasted like it was lacking or missing something. I did appreciate how much chicken was in it but would've liked to see more carrots and potatoes. The rice was cooked well. The food was nice and hot when it came out. It was very fresh. The reason for the three stars in the service. As mentioned above, it took awhile for all the food to come out. Our drinks were never refilled. After we got our food, our waiter never checked on us. We finished eating and had to ask a different waiter for boxes and our checks. The service needs to improve. I will be back for the food though."

"This is type of ?all you can eat? with japanese ingredients/ Korean grill style. You would have awesome meat quality, but a bit pricey. You get what you pay for. You grill your own meats, dip your own sauce and choices of white rice or brown rice. If you?re meat eater then say no to rice, or small bowl of rice would be enough for entire course. There were many meat options to choose from chicken to beef, 3 types of sauce for grilled meat dipping. I loved both roasted sesame and garlic shoyu sauce, they both had very well distinct taste. Meats were well marinated, very tasty and flavorful. There were many prepped side dishes such sushi, potato salad, seaweed salad? The waitress warmly greeted as I walked in. She will kindly explain the entire process at table if you?re first time diner at Umami. There were limited parking spot in front of the restaurant, but plenty parking spots in the back of the restaurant. The beef curry was da bomb, potato salad was perfectly prepped with crunchy cucumber, scallop?. Enough said, try yourself and paid $27.99/ person for dinner."

"Delicious Nigiri experience. They have a shocking variety of very quality fish. We tried 7 different varieties of nigiri that were phenomenal. Otoro was incredible and my favorite (although it was the most expensive). Bluefin, Escolar, and Salmon Belly were also standouts. Unagi, Hamachi, and Sake very good (but easier to find anywhere). Very helpful service, willing to walk us through all the fish. Definitely going back soon. Expect to spend around 90-120 to try a lot of nigiri. Maybe around 60 to buy 4 rolls. I have tried 8-9 sushi restaurants around Provo-Orem, and this one was by far the best. Most comparable sushi would be as far as Salt Lake."

"Wow! I was very impressed by the feel of Bangkok grill when I first walked in, the booth seating was a really cool addition! I got the lunch special and it was worth every penny! I LOVE Thai food and it really hit the spot! The lunch option is a great way to try a variety of different dishes! And the peanut curry was really good! The waitress was really kind and although she worked with a large amount of customers she worked hard with a smile on her face! Definitely a go-agian type restaurant!"

"What an incredible place! The food is outstanding, the service is prompt, and the atmosphere is wonderfully inviting. Although I'm not typically a fan of breakfast, I decided to try the breakfast sandwich, and I can genuinely say it was the best I've ever had—possibly the best breakfast of my life. The grits were absolutely phenomenal; I almost cried from how delicious everything was. Joe truly cares about his guests, and his passion for this restaurant is evident. It feels like being looked after by your grandparents, making sure you've had enough to eat. The food is so comforting and homemade that it tastes just like that. The service is impressively quick too; we placed our order and had our food in under 10 minutes. I will definitely be returning and will recommend Joe's Cafe to everyone I know!"
