"I chose the combination appetizer plate, which included catfish nuggets, fried green tomatoes, and fried okra. It was a generous serving, and every bite was delicious, especially the cornmeal breading. We also shared a special appetizer of fried summer squash, which also featured the delightful cornmeal coating. The restaurant has a limited selection of tap beers and is currently working on acquiring a wine license. Both the owner and the chef took the time to come out and chat with us, which added a nice personal touch to our visit. I truly wish them great success because we will definitely be returning. I'm especially looking forward to trying the gumbo next time!"

I particularly enjoyed the cornbread. We also shared a special appetizer of roasted summer squash, served with homemade bread. The restaurant has a limited selection of tap beers and is currently working on obtaining a wine license. The owner and the chef came out to chat with us, which added a personal touch to our experience. I wish them great success because we definitely plan to return. I can't wait to try the rubber bear next time!
