"Wow! I live in Annapolis, so I don 't get up to Severna Park too often. This morning, I had a dentist appointment in the little office park adjacent to this restaurant, so I decided to check it out for lunch. The interior is lovely and stylishly decorated. The seating is at different levels, separated by half walls, to maximize privacy. They start you out with a bread basket, served with olive oil with a tomato parmesan blend. That could almost have been a meal by itself. I ordered the Scallop Trucco Risotto. The menu description said scallop pieces but there was a whole scallop on top and chopped scallops throughout the dish. It was delicious. The tasty risotto also contained chopped tomatoes, and it was garnished with micro greens. I thought for a minute that I had received the larger dinner portion since I had not explicitly asked for the lunch size. When I asked the server at the end, he confirmed it was the lunch portion--a humongous amount for the price (only $17). The service was friendly and prompt, the food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was charming. I will definitely put this on my list for a return visit."

"As someone not from the US, the food in the US is generally dire. So when you come across a hidden gem such as this, it is to be commended. We came to Annapolis on a day-trip for DC and having been driving for a while we were ready for an (very ! early dinner. Perusing the internet Flamant seemed like it might be worth a try. So we arrive at this nice little place on the outskirts of town. On-site parking available and a nice simply decorated dining area. Good selection of wines, cocktails and mocktails. We sampled an array of dishes from the menu, all of them (with the exception of the moules frites were fresh, tasty, well presented and reasonable portion sizes. The only problem we had was the moules frites where the base used to cook the moules was too strong and smoky. In our opinion it should have been more traditional, a lighter sauce so that you could enjoy the taste of the moules themselves. Service was exceptional, very friendly and very helpful indeed with local area suggestions. Keep up the good work guys !"

"Ordered curbside carryout from Red Hot and Blue’s Annapolis location on Christmas Eve afternoon. I have missed Red Hot Blue so much since I moved to the Delaware seashore several years ago. My order was packed perfectly, ready on time and every item was correct, which is so important when you live two hours away. We selected a 4-pack meal with pulled chicken, slider buns, potato salad, cole slaw and collard greens, as well as a rack of ribs, half dry, half wet. Everything was absolutely delicious. The potato salad was just as I remembered it, a perfect balance of texture, seasonings and just enough mayo. Everyone was thrilled with the meal."

"We went just before closing with a party of 5. Just got our orders in before the kitchen closed. It was quite busy when we arrived but quickly thinned out. Everything was delicious. The drinks were great, dessert was great and the meals and hors doerves were also great! Plus it's in the neighborhood so we will be back! "We had an overall pretty decent brunch experience at Evelyn 's with a few caveats. Everyone seemed to have a bright/warm personality whenever you 'd ask for anything. Seems they were short on servers but had plenty of teens bussing tables. Those teens were happy to help when I 'd flag them down to swap out my coffee for a lipstick free cup or to get a refill. The food was flavorful but perhaps a bit over cooked (specifically my wifes dry steak and eggs). I 'm also not particularly a fan of the eggshell I bit into while eating my chorizo omelet, but I still enjoyed the meal overall. At the end of our meal we enjoyed watching the 4 teens trying to chase down and catch the dining room mascot (a small mouse). If we 're in the area, we wouldn 't shun the place over the few hiccups that we encountered. The folks working here were such polite and pleasant people in comparison to the service we 're used to getting in PG county. I 'd suggest the owners promptly get pest control in there. The droppings I saw when the teens moved the tables to catch the mouse suggested there 'd been a rodent issue for some time. Oh, and remove the Wait to be seated sign if you don 't have someone watching the front door to seat patrons."
