I finally had the chance to try Nana's Chicken and Waffles early on a Monday morning. There was no line and no wait, which was great. The chicken was decent but not as flavorful as I had hoped. The waffle was also just okay. Overall, it was a pretty average experience.

This is one of the best-kept secrets for locals. This New Orleans Southern comfort food breakfast and brunch spot is fantastic. With live music, a DJ playing classic tunes, friendly staff, and excellent service with a smile, you can't go wrong. Plus, there's valet parking. It's a must-visit!

We waited an hour to be seated since we had a large group, but it was absolutely worth it! The fried green tomatoes were outstanding, and the fried chicken was incredible! The wait was crazy on the weekend! According to the the employees, it's best to come during the weekdays. My friend had the fried chicken. It looked and smelled delicious but tasted like it was only seasoned in the batter which made it taste a little fresh (underseasoned). I had the catfish and grits. It was seasoned perfectly. I don't normally like catfish. But, figured I would try it since it was the only fish option. I'm glad that I did. The service at the takeout counter was perfect. The lady was friendly, upbeat and offered recommendations.

Wow! This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The service is exceptional right from the moment you step in, greeted by the charming King Charles or the delightful server Jackie. The Fried Green Tomatoes topped with pimento cheese and bacon were simply delicious, and the fried chicken paired with the incredibly flavorful waffle was perfect. I can’t fully convey how incredible this hidden gem is—it's like dining at Grandma's house, but even better. Plus, they offer cocktails! I walked out feeling completely satisfied and even did a little happy dance on my way out.

No you have good fried chicken when you can eat the fried Chicken cold I'm not playing. Nana and her team are doing a great job. While their mannerism is on point it was not as professional as I would have liked to have seen. The waffles are the bomb and they make what they call fried lobster I haven't tasted it but just looking at it made my mouth water. I do plan on going back and I am definitely going to try to fry lobster with one of those delicious cinnamon apple waffles. Nana and her sister is doing a wonderful job even during this time of pandemic. I believe God is definitely in their corner and they are definitely old school from the cooking to the mannerism they in their staff uphol... Voir le carte
